IPTV EPG

When I look at my IPTV EPG, it displays 24 hours of programming.
If I look at it using SmartersPRO, I get around 5 days of programming.
Is there some config setting I'm missing?

The channels that I use SD for give me 14 days of programming.

I'm guessing if you download your xmltv url and take a look at the file, it'll only have 24 hours of listings.

Smarters might be using some other interface. (other than that xmltv url)

Just a thought, is there some way for me to tap into whatever method Smarters is using?
Not necessarily the same method, but some way for me to get more than 24 hours.

Google seems to indicate that with some IPTV providers you can append "&next_days=7" to the xmltv url to get more.

I didn't have any luck using the"&next_days=7" option. It just hung the download.
I reduced it to 2 days with same results.

However, thanx for turning me on to the Google IPTV info.
I didn't realize I could customize the IPTV XML file.
I believe there's enough info out there for me to come up with a solution.

On the subject of IPTV EPG.

I just installed the latest Version: 6.1.5.231022 of NextPVR on Windows 11.

When I try using 'http://localhost:8866/service?method=channel.xmltv'
I get the following error:

'This page contains the following errors:
error on line 283 at column 17: xmlParseEntityRef: no name
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.'

I am a donator to NextPVR.

The Epg appears to work fine in native NextPVR clients and Kodi, but not for the IPTV clients.
Could it be an issue with my EPG source?

Was working with previous NextPVR version, but was using a different NShared.dll provided by Sub in this forum that apparently removes the formatting that xteve can not handle.
I am not using Xteve, but am using the 3rd party IPTV app 'Tivimate'

You'd probably need to capture the content returned by that call, so I can look at what is on line 283.

Actually there is a bug in the new version it is not XML encoding genres (categories)
