Thank you, Martin. It sounds like some of the challenges I'd expected for seamless integration are there with potential, at least partial, solutions. As an aside, that is CRAZY cheap internet /tv combo service compared to what people can get in my part of the US (minneapolis area). Here most would pay that much, or more, for that level of internet OR tv (assuming that includes some level of sports programming) and every time you turn around it would get bumped up.
The screen grabbers I referred to are software programs that (claim to) capture the video that would be displayed on the screen. They claim to be able to support the video in a window so MIGHT allow multiple stream captures concurrently. I only did small amounts of testing and can't speak to the quality of captured video.
Anyway - far enough off topic for something that, at least for my use case, is a "maybe someday" issue.
