Hi.  I can't manage to get KSTU (Fox).  It is on the same tower as lots of other stations that are coming in great.

Here is the map (zip code XXXXX):  https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

As you can see, there are a lot of channels coming from Farnsworth peak - all, or at least most, I am getting well, but not KSTU (RF Channel 28).

It is really weird because with all of the exact same hardware, I used to get it, but on this install of windows, it isn't working.

Here are my logs, at least I hope these are the right logs.  If not, could someone please let me know which ones to upload?

Thank you so much for the help!

Edit:  problem solved - I was dumb and didn't have the right coax cable from the antenna to the tuner.  Deleted logs and edited zip code

Send the zipped logs from the settings web page.

Can you find it with WinTV and are you using a UHF antenna?

I'll try it on wintv when I get home. I didn't think of that.

I don't see anywhere specifically saying my tuner is uhf, but I've got this channel before with this tuner and I'm getting the other ones off the tower that are UHF, so I assume it is.

Here is a link to my tuner: https://www.hauppauge.com/pages/webstore...ualhd.html

Once again, thank you so much for your time

When I checked your zip code https://www.rabbitears.info/s/1526850 I was surprised that you only had trouble with 28, there seemed to be a lot more missing that were marked good so thought maybe it was antenna related.

If you have a TV with a built in tuner I would try connecting your antenna to it an do a channel scan and see if you can get channel 28.

Keep in minde, you can sometimes get confusing results doing this - ie, a TV often has a much better TV tuner than you get in a small USB stick, so sometimes the TV will get it, but the USB tuner will not. Checking in WinTV is probably the best idea.

I don't have any other TV in the house, so I can't do that. Sad

I also don't have my wintv activation code anymore. Is there a free program anywhere that I can download that will let me tune to a specific channel?

VLC with direct show can tune by frequency but it is too hard to explain. You can also see if one of sub's other programs picks it up https://www.capture4me.com/ it might be closer to WinTV If it doesn't there is a good bet that it is signal related. Finally, if you have Linux or even a RPii we can also see how that works.

Hauppauge also has a tool you can install https://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/...nitor.html and you can use it to get the best signal from the tower, while watching a "good" channel. Then maybe rescan.
