I'm using the latest version but not sure if this problem existed in the last one since I don't often stop a video and resume later. I have only noticed it recently in the current version.

Is your recording in-progress?

No. It's like this on any recording I play back.

I think resume works but I think the web player may not be saving the resume point. Nothing is written to the database sub will need to clarify when it is written.

I have noticed that if I'm watching a recording on the Web player and press Stop it takes me back to the Recordings page as expected. But the recording I have just been watching has no resume option, until I refresh the page, then the option is shown and works OK.

I think there is minimum time to watch before recording.watched.set gets run though and I think you need to use Stop not exit the browser.

It doesn't help that the test file I was using isn't providing a duration so NextPVR isn't using the timing file.

I always use the stop button. In the past I've had the resume button show up after watching five minutes or less. I just watched 25 minutes of a show an no luck. Refreshing the page made no difference, even with control-F5.

Are you able to test in different versions? I'm pretty sure it worked in the last version, and if not that one, the one previous to it. I see in the change log for the current release Sub has a note that says "Fixed issue with Resume". Perhaps fixed for some and broke it for others? Some users must have been having a problem with it while I wasn't.

Upload the zipped logs and we can have a look. When I hit stop I do see it being set but there is some link to the duration too. Sub needs to explain more of what causes it to be displayed and set.

I hope this log has what you need. The last thing I did was open an file from July 2024 that had a resume button and it worked as expected.
