Hi! I'm in France, where "AB1" netword is on channel 74.
I used to be able to it with GBPVR, but since two days ago (I think when I installed the lastest version of GBPVR) I can't see it anymore!

I have checked that it is still in the channels list in my capture card settings (I use WinTV-PVR 150), and it's also on the favorite channels. However, when I switch to that channel nothing happens: the previous channel stays on the screen (even though OSD states that I'm watching AB1).

Any idea of why I have lost this channel? (BTW, it works OK on my TV, so the channel itself is not faulty).

No, possibly running any other TV software that adjust the system channel tables?

Either way, run the tuning assistant and see if you can find the channel.

When I start the tuning assistant, I get the error messages "ConnectPins failed!" and then "Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarVideoDecoderOut to pinNameAnalogVideoIn"

Then the tuning assistant starts, however, but does not find any channel at all... This is really strange since GBPVR works fine -- except for AB1!

I have installed the lastest version (0.92.08). It's great!... But it didn't correct my problem with AB1.

I investigated the problem further: if I assign AB1 to a channel up to 69, it works fine (except that I only see noise, which is normal on those channels).

But when I assign channel 70 or more, then the problem occurs: the tuner simply doesn't change channel, and stays on whatever channel it was tuned to. Isn't there a setting somewhere that would limit the tuner to channels up to 69? What I don't understand is that this problem did not occur at the beginning... So it must be a setting somewhere!

The number of channel is dependant on combination of country and tuning type (cable/analog). For example NewZealand/Antenna accepts 1 - 11, NewZealand/Cable accepts 1-365, Sweden/Antenna accepts 1 - 69 etc

I dont know if thats your problem though. Can you tune the same channel in in WinTV2000?

Yes, I can tune channel 74 with WinTV2000. So I don't think it comes from the card's drivers.

Moreover, it used to work with GB-PVR. It's only a few weeks ago that it stopped working, perhaps when I installed a new version.

I've tried to locate a file or registry that would limit channels to 69 in France/Antenna, but I didn't find it.

If you can find the frequency of the channel, just type it into the channel number for the channel. If the channel number is > 999, then its treated as a frequency.

Sub, thank you so much for your help. Wink
I checked the frequency of AB1: 160.06.
I guessed I should type 160060000... And it just worked fine! Big Grin
