Hauppauge 500 -- Too dark

My Hauppauge PVR 500 is a little dark. Is there a way I can lighten it up just a bit? I can still see the video and its recordings, but its darker than on my tv. Any ideas? I haven't seen a setting for adjusting the brightness/contrast/color/etc. Thanks! David

What kind of video card are you using? nVidia cards have seperate color/brightness/contrast adjustments for video overlay in the desktop's advanced display properties.

You can use the Hauppauge_Tweaker utility (available on the wiki) to adjust settings; look for the tab '150/500 Advanced', then capture settings, select captur source, and you can adjust it from there. I can do this in real time with my 150, and I guess 500 may be the same.

Should be. A PVR500 is just 2 150's....
