I removed the last version of GBPVR on my computer via Add/Remove Programs and restarted.  Then I installed .17i, and I set up the EPG using Zap2It.  I've also tried using xmltv, with the same problem.  The problem is that GBPVR seems to be recording, but no .mpg file ever gets created.

The folder with the name of the show gets created, but no .mpg file ever gets created.  The icon in the system tray is green, but when you hover the mouse over it the pop up says "Sleeping".  It's a half hour show I'm trying to record, and after that time is up, the icon goes back to red, but still no .mpg file.  It isn't in the folder I specified in the configuration, or anywhere else I can find.  Any ideas?  I haven't seen anything like this in the posts I've searched though.

Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem. I schedule recordind the task bar icon goes green but no file is created. After the end time goes by the program is still shown as scheduled in the recordings list. It seems as if its not being dealt with at all??

Any ideas ??

Just sent it. Does your ISP allow .exe attachments? If not, let me know and I can find another way to get it to you.

FYI, I uninstalled .17i, rebooted, then installed the previous version I had, which was .15c with the timezone fix, and it seems to be doing the same thing.

Thanks!

I had exactly the same problem and also the channels wouldn't change. I disabled the web server and I could record and to sort the channel changing I had to set it to vrm 9 although I only have vrm7 card.
But when I try to record through a MediaMVP then the recording doesn't work. Does using the MediaMVP client enable the web server ports? I haven't checked that yet as the recording that failed was last night and I left for work late.

I had a similar problem. I have two sources set up. the internal tuner and S Video. It works fine when I switch channels between the sources but if I schedule a recording that uses the S Video source it only records snow. I assume it's not changing channels properly. I could have something lingering from a previous version so I did a Remove of the program as well as deleted the program folder, then did a fresh install. Setting it up now. Hope the problem goes away.

Mine is not recording now. I set a scheduled recording, check the Rcordings menu to verify it's there. When I go back after it should have recorded it's gone. It shows no recordings or scheduled recordings.

I did my first recording using composite input with my DVB-T STB (with two sources on the same card) and that recorded but it just recorded a load of snow like you. It would suggest something is not working.

Well I did a removal, deleted the gbpvr folder, did a reg clean, downloaded the latest GB-PVR, did the install and setup. I've only setup one source on the 350.

I've done this twice and it will not do a scheduled or a manual record. The hard drive light comes on like it's recording. There is no icon in the tray. Am I doing something wrong? What should I be looking for?

It leaves a folder with the program name on my hard drive but no mpg.
