I've been thinking about getting a HDTV capable monitor that has 16:9 aspect and supports WXGA at 1366 x 768.

I know there is no current HDTV tuner support in GBPVR but I thought I would ask if anyone uses GBPVR with an HDTV/WXGA monitor and if so how GBPVR handles a standard TV (4:3 aspect) in this case.
ASUS A7V880, Athlon XP 3000+, 1024MB, 250GB (Prog/DB), 40GB (Buffer/Temp), 670GB SATA (Video Library), PVR150MCE Video (2), NEC DVD+/- RW, Liteon DVD, nVidia FX5600 AGP, Onboard AC 97 Audio, Hauppauge Remote, Girder, USBUIRT,802.11G WLAN, nVidia Platinum Decoders

I use an MVP connected to a 50" Samsung rear-DLP HDTV. I don't subscribe to HDTV, so I watch tend to watch all cable broadcasts in 4:3 with the black bars on the sides which I prefer to any of the widescreen modes. The MVP looks great in both 4:3 and widescreen modes (well at least as good as an MVP can with all of its brightness/contrast issues).

Just note that if you have a crappy signal on any particular channel, ABC in my area, and you can make out artifacts in the mpeg recordings on your CRT TV now, they seem to be amplified on digital TV's. I'm sure this is a combo of many things, mainly the MVP. Watching the dark sets on LOST and ALIAS was really annoying to the point I stopped using the MVP to watch them. Otherwise, all of my channels/recordings are very clear.
