Hi,

I've tried this question in "SUPPORT" but no answers...

Here I am trying again...

===========================================

hi, again....

I am having problem with rectracker (I've read some of other threads, but, still nothing.....)

I've setup all the info as stated in the forum, having the rectracker.zip (unzipped) and copied to my gbpvr directory
also created two batch files that contained:

postepgupdate.bat
rectracker -purge

postprocessing.bat
rectracker %1

But, rectracker.mdb is still empty after I finished a recording.....

Who can help me....

"Support" is pretty much manned by me, but I dont answer questions about third party plugins since I'm not familiar with them. This is the right place for your questions..

Thanks sub for clarifying about the sub-forum....
I always thought that SUPPORT would cover everything.... now I know,
thanks

Hopefully someone can help me with the questions, ^_^

Ditto here too.

I've unzip all the files to the main dir and created the batch files as stated. Nothing appears to be added to the mdb.

I assume the names of the batch files are defined somewhere or is that what we are missing?

can you manually try to call rectracker "the full path and name of one of the files" and post the log/output.

for example

rectracker "c:\movies\Smallville\Smallville07260508000900.mpg"

One thing you can try in the post processing.bat change

rectracker %1

to rectracker "%1"

if the filename has a space in it, it could explain what is going on.

Ok I suppose space could have something to do with but it still fails when I do it manually too. Attached is a log of my trying it manually.

I'm having the same problem. The .mdb file is empty when I open it in access. I've attached my output from trying to manually add a show through the command line. I had it working before, but I recently wiped my computer and did a clean install and it hasn't worked since.
Thanks for your help.

equivicus,

change the postprocessing.bat from rectracker -add ...
to rectracker "%1" > rectracker.log

kaiger,

Your problem has to do with the ignore list.

Lets try this

one of these commands should create the ignore list.
rectracker -listignore
or
rectracker -addignore "Fire Me"

"Fire me" is a show that does not change from episode to episode you could try ZZZZZZ it does not matter as long as it is not the show you want to rectracker.

Try that and see if you see a table called ignorelist. The code should auto create it, I am not sure why it is not. I take rectracker from xrecord and publih it. Perhaps I have an out of date file.
