While in LiveTV

When I press the green button on the 45 button MVP remote, instead of getting the mini guide with the browsable channels, I get just the OSD to come up and on the left it says: Browsing Mini Guide and on the right it gives the time. If I press the green button again, for a split second....I get the info about the channel at the bottom and at the top of the screen i get the progress bar showing how much of the recording i am into at this point.

Any ideas? Is this supposed to be like this? What key combination will give me the two channels at a time in the OSD that shows what is on TV for those two channels....

Thanks.

Are you running v0.92.8 or v0.92.11. The later fixed a bug to do with the mini guide.

Or are you thinking of the tv guide which is shown using the 'guide' button?

I'm running v0.92.11...i just upgraded it today....i was having the same problem with v0.92.8.....i've just gotten the MVP, so these are the only two versions I have used with the MVP so far.

I'm not sure which button is the guide button at this point. I've been looking for a map of what buttons do what on the MVP remote and I haven't found anything yet. Am I wrong to assume that it is slightly different on the MVP than when using the PVR350 remote on the computer?

If I push the blue botton it brings up a description of what is on at the channel at that point in time. If I press the green button it shows Browsing Mini Guide on the left of the OSD and on the right it gives the time.
What do I need to press to get the two channel guide to come up on the OSD?

Is there an error shown in your gbpvr.exe.log when you press the guide button?

Here is what i think is the section of the log that shows the Request to create the Guide and then the error. The end of this is actually the end of the log file. There was nothing beyond it at this point.

Hmm. I've not seen it before. Maybe you're running an old version of the Hauppauge MVP software.

Try disabling the fully transparent OSD option.

I have 2.4.23104 installed right now. That is all that has ever been installed on this machine as far as the MVP is concerned. I do have both of the MVP services stopped as I think I understood the documentation to suggest.
