Hi,

I have a Hauppauge Nova-T card (90002) that I want to try out with GB-PVR but I understand that I have to use the Technotrend BDA drivers to do this.

Can someone please give me an idiot's guide to how exactly I install these drivers? I've currently removed all trace of the Hauppauge drivers so I basically have the unknown devices listed in Device Manager but any attempt to install the Technotrend drivers for these devices fails with XP moaning that they're not compatible.

Where am I going wrong? Any help greatly appreciated.

These are the wrong drivers for the 90002 card. The Technotrend drivers are for the older 909 card (different chipset). I have MCE 2.1 drivers installed, but can't remember where I got them from (not the UK HAuppauge website, who are always out of date). Have a look on the German website.

Try this link for info on installing: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=709

The forum on the Hauppauge UK site has detailed instructions (thanks to Chris Day) and links to the latest drivers. This is the thread for the latest version of the 90002 Installation Procedure for Nova-t PCI 90002 (v2.0)
I have the USB2 version and installed only the BDA drivers ie did not complete steps 7 and 8 but then installed GB-PVR and this worked fine.
