I guess this isn't technically a GB-PVR question, but I know a lot of you have a similar setup, so I'm hoping someone has dealt with this before. I've been using GB-PVR for about the last 6 months and I love it. I decided to do a clean format/reinstall since my computer was running slowly and I had tons of stuff on there that I no longer use. I reinstalled XP Professional and got everything to work until I tried to install my two PVR-150's. My computer will not start with the cards enabled and the drivers installed. It flashes a brief blue screen of death and reboots right after the initial XP 'loading' logo.
My system is as follows: I've got a PVR-150 and a PVR-150MCE running with a GeForce FX 5500 and Turtle Beach Riviera on a Soyo K7VMP2 motherboard with AMD Athlon XP 2800+ and 1.25 gigs PC400 RAM.
I've tried the drivers that came with the cards, the ones downloaded from Hauppage and SHSPVR. I've updated all the drivers for everything else in the machine. I tried XP Pro and with SP1 and SP2. I've disabled on-board video and I've tried every ACPI setting. I've spent the last four hours on Google looking for a solution and I've hit a wall. I guess I should have left well enough alone, since everything was working yesterday. The computer works flawlessly when I disable both of the cards. Has anybody dealt with a similar problem before?
