Using the TV Guide, I scheduled a Seaon Recording of Stargate SG-1 for the Friday at 8:00 timeslot only. However after I scheduled it, GBPVR scheuled a recording of every airing of Stargate SG-1 on the SCI-FI channel. And, when I tried "record every airing on this channel", GBPVR didnt schedule a recording for any airing. Any suggestions?

I get something like that, too, w/ almost anything I schedule on FX. It was happending w/ The Shield, but also happened when I tired to schedule 30 Days. I add on day/time, and it would get every airing of any episode on any timeslot.

The timeslot relates to time, not day. When you do a timeslot recording, it'll pickup anything in that timeslot regards of the day of the week.

It also allows for slight variances in the start time. The default is +/- 120 minutes, so that if a show is run late or early it'll still be recorded. If 120 minutes is too big for you, you can change it in config.xml

When I've done mine, I've set exact time/day/channel. But, FX will run the show, and then run it right after (and sometimes after that). Is that how it's getting caught, in that 120min window?

Yes, most likely.

That's cool then, and the why it's there is a good idea. But I think it means there's no real fix, when they do it back to back like that.

I think I may set it down to 0. I've noticed zap2it isn't to quick on last-minute updates, and since it's going to record fof the guide, that kind of dynamic logic won't happen.

ejeffers: I think it's just an option that says this channel, day, and timeslot, or something like that. Just keep rolling through the choices.

I noticed something strange (at least to me) I set Stargate SG-1 to Season record, this channel, this time slot. The program was recorded but it does not appear in the Web Admin Manage Recordings list.
