Hi,

just wanted to ask if there's any way to run a batch file before a scheduled recording starts??

Cheers,

But there will be very soon...

I'm just a few days away from releasing the first beta of my newest app - PVRPowerTray. This is a substitute for the GBPVRTray.exe app that is provided with GB-PVR.

My tray app will offer all the features of GBPVRTray plus many others, including the option to launch a batch file called "PreProcessing.bat". Include a line in the batch file like "comskip.exe %1" and now you can start comskip as soon as the recording begins. This way, you can actually use commercial-skipping with time-shifting.

Please check the Community Announcements forum in a few days for release info and full details.

noob question... I've seen a lot of talk about postprocessing.bat but I don't have one, could someone post an example of theirs? I have comskip in the gbpvr directory and everything seems to run ticketidy-boo, but I'm not sure what PostProcessing.bat should look like.

comskip %1
rectracker %1 > rectracker.log

remove the rectracker line if you dont have xrecord installed.
