Hi!

I´m living in Austria, using xmltv (with the option tvtoday) to update my EPG.
Everything worked fine till yesterday. I got back an error message from xmltv application:

grabbing: Can't call method "look_down" on an undefined value at /PerlApp/grab/de_tvtoday/tv_grab_de_tvtoday line 455.

Has anybody else similar problems or a different solution for getting EPG data in Austria/Germany for GBPVR.

thx for your help

Same problem here... but I work with TVMovie Clickfinder now... I tried several versions of XMLTV - none did work at all.
If you PM me I could send u how I did it (on German ;-))

huh...? strange... im grabbing epg data for german (and swiss) tv channels with xmltv (tv_grab_de_tvtoday) since more than a half year and i never encountered this error... (using the latest version 0.5.39)

[edit] uhm... should have read carefully... 'until yesterday'...
seems i have the same problem since today.

tvtoday.de has changed its php pages... so the html-source of the page is not the same anymore.
the grabber does not find the data he expects and terminates.

the author of the grabber has (partly) corrected it.
at the moment, the option --slow (which grabs more infos e.g. description) does not work at the moment, and there is no binary build available yet.

but as said: the developers are at it... with a little luck, we have tv_grab_de_today back next week.

[edit] there _does_ exist a binary version which includes the fix for tv_grab_de_tvtoday: http://alpha-exe.xmltv.org/
it is an alpha release (but works well)
