Save the programme description in a txt file with the same name as the mpg file

Hi,

I'm currently watching the recorded mpg files on my Dreambox http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/ This works quite well. I just have one tiny wish: would it be possible to save the programme description with the same file name as the recorded mpg file as a simple text file with extension .eit ? This would make it perfect ! Then I could just press the "info" button on my remote and have the text from the EPG in GBPVR ;-)

As part of XRecord there is a utility called Xexport. This puts the programme info in a .dat file. Put it in your postprocessing.bat file like this:

Xexport "%1"

You will then need to write a program yourself to alter the file format to how you want and also rename the file.

the .dat file is really in a ini format and is easy to transform. Xrecord will also display all shows that have a .dat even if the epg is not there.
