Okay... I had been running 90.11 (?, previous release before most current one) for the longest time. It was super stable, no problems on my end. All the plugins I used didn't require anything higher, so I never bothered.

Anyways, I was going to mess with MyVideo's plugin, and therefore I had to upgrade... So I downloaded the new version and did an install right over the top of the previous one.

Now, when I go into XRecord, click on a show, and hit play, it comes back with an instance in array out of bounds, or some similar error... (actual error reads: Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array) when I use the stock Recordings button I get the error, Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Something happened, but I can't figure out what. Any ideas? I'll attach the error logs for the two cases. First attach will be the Recordings click, second attach will be the XRecord click.

I'm using the "Dubya" skin... I haven't updated any of that, but now that you mention it, I do remember you saying some "skin related" issues changed, and the skins would have to be updated.

I guess I hadn't even thought of that when I was searching for answers last night at 3 am. Smile

(that is, if that's your idea...)

I went with the standard "Blue" skin, "Red Sky" skin and "Flat Blue" skin, and all of them did the same thing. Attached is the log file from the "Blue" skin.

Your logs show XRecord (or some other plugin) having a problem, but I cant help you with that one since I've never used it. What happens when you view the GB-PVR recording screen?

Same error as before. I'll run it with the Blue Skin and attach that log as well. The only thing I notice different about the XRecord versus the Recordings button is that I can't get to the list of shows with the Recording button, the error (same as I listed in the first message) comes up immediately... in XRecord, it brings up all the shows, I pick the group, then the show... when I select play on the show, then it brings up that error.

It is still a problem with your skin. Please post your "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\recordings\skin.xml" file. If you'd manually modified this file in the past, it may not have been upgraded.

Here ya go...

Thanks for all your help. Evidently I've done something that I don't remember doing which always seems to foul up even the best of installs...

Pesky end users. Smile

Yep, as suspected... that is nothing like the file GB-PVR requires. That file is really old.

You could try just deleting the blue skin directory and hope the MSI installer re-adds all the correct files next time you start GB-PVR. Otherwise you'll need to uninstall, delete the gbpvr directory, then reinstall.
