Install error ???

The Install program runs right to the point where it has 0% remaining to do, then switches to rollback mode, deletes the installation and says it cannot complete due to an error. Which of course it does not describe.

Surely there's a log somewhere of what's wrong, where do I look?

Sorry, this seems to be happening to a few people. I dont know why. The windows installer is a complete mystery to me.

If you've still got the old version available, you could try running the following commands before installing. Hopefully it'll help.

cd "c:\program file\devnz\gbpvr"
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\installutil /u GBPVRRecordingService.exe

Sorry, didn't trip on the other thread since this wasn't an update for me, but a new install. I'll leave this thread alone and follow the other. Thanks for the suggestion.
