Delete the excel, delete the wm. The only things you need are the film.mpg and the film.txt (I have no idea why you have 2 of them).
Get comclean (search for the thread on it), and put it in the gbpvr folder, along with mpgtx.exe.
In postprocessing.bat put these lines:[code]comskip %1
CALL comclean %1
Comclean will read the .txt file, and cut the commercials, based on what comskip found.

Gbpvr config does not contain an autocut. It will automatically run comskip though.
If you have comskip running in postprocessing.bat, you do not need it in config, and the other way around.
Comclean does the cutting with mpgtx, you do need comclean if you want the files automatically cut. Comskip only detects commercials and outputs a .txt file.
Post the contents of your comskip.ini file please.

Hi,

My postprocessing .bat looks like this

comskip %1
CALL comclean %1

and I get

a .txt file generated
a .log file generated
and a mpg file with original after the filename?

It doesn't cut any commercials but finds them and places the points in the txt file

Can you help find my missing piece of this puzzle?

Thank you

Did this happen once or always.

Some older versions of comclean failed to generate a cleaned file when the first commercial starts at frame 1.
Pleas use comclean version 0.0.5 as found on
http://mk.kaashoek.com/gbpvr

otherwise, please post the .txt file that comskip did generate so we can have a look.

Change your postprocessing.bat so it looks like this:
Code:
conskip %1
call comclean %1 >>comclean.log 2>>comclean.err
Do a test recording.
Open the .err file in notepad, and post it's contents.

GBPVR won't autocut the commercials comskip finds, it will automatically skip over them during playback. I've found that this is more useful than comclean, simply because if there's any error in commercial detection by comskip(or showanalyzer, which is what I use) I can go back and watch the part of the show that I missed, instead of it being lost forever.

Thanks for all the help.
I downloaded the latest comskip and comclean and voila it works on a test program.

It leaves the first commercials intact and the last but rips out everything inbetween. Thank you all

As this seems to work what do I need to put in the batch file to delete the original file as I am limited on space.

To delete the original you can add

del "%~dpn1_original.mpg"

to your postprocessing.bat after the call to comclean.

You can realy help me by mailing me the log file generated with verbose set to 10.
Please add in the mail which blocks (see end of the log file) are incorrectly flagged as shows

In the hurry to get out version 0.73 I did make an error which is being corrected right now. This could be the reason why very short commercial blocks at the beginning or end remain in the show.
