quick question about MyVideos, F11 key acts like Escape?

When I am in myvideos and trying to burn a DVD of some shows, I hit the Ctrl-R key and add them to my DVD but when i hit F11 (according to the WiKi), it takes me back to the main menu, as though I had hit home or esc? F11 seems to act this way throughout MyVideos.....


Ideas?

will do - i have retired from messing with the PVR for tonight, but i had another quick question: how do I delete files from myvideos? I recorded a show, watched it, but there was no delete key (that i knew of)

So i went to "recordings" and deleted it there, but now there is an empty folder in myvideos

go to the menu (via the F11 key, at the moment it will be the "menu"/home key) and then edit/delete (unless you changed the menu structure).

Hi Raven, I've also got a quick question about MyVideos. If i'm only using it to watch videos and play dvd's, but not burn DVD's, do I still need to install all that extra software other than the database? Thanks

im pretty sure it will work without the extra stuff, but i dont test for it, so it mightnt, but it should.

Reven: So I want to burn a DVD and I think I am doing something wrong. I have DVDDecrypter installed and in the config it is entered correctly. I also have PVAstrumento in a folder called c:\utils\dvd\pvastrumento and it is linked in the config. I have dvdauthor in a folder in c:\utils\dvd and the dvdauthor.exe is the file pointed to in config.
the link to mkisofs through sourcefourge is broken (/Not Found). I found a copy of the "binaries" and put them in a folder called c:\utils\dvd\mkisofs.

now when i try to burn a dvd, it gets to step two and when it tries to "burn" the DVD, decrypter gives me an error saying it can't find said ISO.

my DVDburn.bat looks like this:

Also, this may or may not be an unrelated question, but i have nero 6.6.0.13 installed which has nercmd, right? Would it be better to burn the is with that, once I figure out how to get an iso?

if you use nerocmd you dont need to create an iso file, nerocmd can just burn from the "video-ts" directory, so you dont need to use mkisofs. so yeah if you have nerocmd download that batch file and use that. and it will save you about 10minutes.
