1. On my MVP with GBPVR, the top and bottom of the GBPVR menus is cut off. Is that normal?

2. When I go to the Video Library, it does not show any of the files in a folder I have mapped to a network drive on another pc. Is that normal?

Otherwise the MVP rocks.

Thanks,
Paul

Nearly every TV seems to be different, but you can tweak the sizes in config.xml by editing the MVPWidth/MVPHeight/MVPOffsetX/MVPOffsetY settings. Use Notepad for this task, not wordpad (which can stuff the file if you pick the wrong option).

Remember, the MVP server is running under a different user account, so it doesnt have the same drives mapped as your regular account.

So what is the best way for the MVP to see content that is not on the server machine, but on another computer? I download all my shows to my main computer and play them in my living room on my GBPVR machine. Now I have the MVP for the bedroom and I need to play the content off the main machine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

You could change the user account used to run the GB-PVR Recording Service, or use UNC paths. This has been dicussed several times in the past, so the search should turn up a decent amount of info on this.

Thanks Sub!

You pointed me in the right direction. I works like a charm now Smile

DivX files really don't like being played on the MVP through the GBPVR server to another machine. Either too many hops or my AMD 1800 just doesn't have enough jam to crank it out.
