Capturing Camcorder Video

I have MCE250 and I have camcoder connected to the card, I changed the setting to capture composite but the video is still not showing up. Also is there a way to get channel changer and record option on the live tv screen.

You're probably better off using some other app for this sort of task. Maybe the Hauppauge WinTV software?

I did finally got the capture to work but when I burned the captured movie on my dvd player all the colors are washed out. Could that be because of the encoding software.
