Since upgrading I've been having problems with the recording service throwing an error, as documented in this thread. Now I've had another problem.

I scheduled a 3 hour recording that would run from 5-8 pm, with another recording to go from 8-10:30. The first was setup to use the component inputs and the second, the pvr's built-in tuner, setup as two capture sources. I have no pre-start or post-recording minutes setup (I forget what that's called in the setup) and I've never had trouble with this kind of thing in the past. But this time, the first recording simply didn't stop.

I double checked the times on both programs, and they were setup correctly according to the entries that showed up under the Pending list. The time was set correctly on the PC as well. For some reason the first show just kept going. I could view it and see that it was already well over 3 hours and I skipped to the end and it was still recording from the component input, recording the show that followed the program I wanted to record from 5-8.

The second program still showed pending. It's repeated again at 10:30 this evening, so I thought, no harm, I'll just cancel this one and presuming the first one does stop at some point, I'll just schedule it again at 10:30. However, when I went to cancel the recording, gbpvr locked up. The screen just stuck and wouldn't come back when I clicked the Cancel button.

I can see from the log that the weather plugin did throw an error about the time my lockup occurred, so perhaps that's why I locked up. However, I can't figure why the first recording didn't finish. The only thing I did out of the ordinary (for me) was I used the web interface to schedule both recordings. However, when I viewed them through gbpvr, they seemed to have the correct times.

If you'd like me to post or email logs, let me know. Not much in them that I can see, but I'd be happy to.

Thanks,
Tim
