Love it so far.

Bug:  I selected a program and then 'record season'  The box changed color on the guide but nothing got scheduled.  Scheduling a single episode works fine.

Requests:

1) Display the channel number along with the station identifier in the guide.  Something like:

8
WABC

Maybe make the number a slightly larger font?? (if there is room)

2) Display the description and episode info along with the program name up in the guide grid.  Save you from selecting the entry just to see that information.

3) When selecting a entry in the grid, make the entire grid square a 'hot spot' instead of just the text.

4) Make the number of rows to display before repeating the column headings configurable.

5) Add a option to display the channel logo's on the guide.

I'd have at it myself, but my only VS .NET box is down at the moment.

LivesNBox is lurking here somewhere, and will hopefully be able to accommodate some of these suggestion. If not, the source code to the web stuff was included with the release if anyone else wants to try their hand at a bit of coding.

I will look into this -- honestly most of this development has been done by me, and tested by sub... long story, but my .net box doesn't like to work with gbpvr.

I'll consider this -- but I believe this is mainly a function of whatever epg plugin you're using (xmltv, zap2it). I'll talk with sub to make sure I'm right.. but I'm guessing you're using zap2it

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (CodeMonkey @ May 20 2004,12:22)]Maybe make the number a slightly larger font?? (if there is room)
I'll see how it looks

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (CodeMonkey @ May 20 2004,12:22)]2) Display the description and episode info along with the program name up in the guide grid. Save you from selecting the entry just to see that information.
This might be a good idea.. I'll see how this looks also. I doubt I'll be able to get it all in there.. and it will make loading that page even slower than it already is. So we'll see how it goes.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (CodeMonkey @ May 20 2004,12:22)]3) When selecting a entry in the grid, make the entire grid square a 'hot spot' instead of just the text.
That's on my TODO list already [Image: smile.gif]

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (CodeMonkey @ May 20 2004,12:22)]4) Make the number of rows to display before repeating the column headings configurable.
good call -- I will have to make a preferences page or something (maybe let you change themes there too...

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (CodeMonkey @ May 20 2004,12:22)]5) Add a option to display the channel logo's on the guide.
This is also driven by whatever epg plugin you're using -- the image names (I've heard) aren't passed along in the zap2it feed. (if you're looking for a method to turn the images off -- I'll stick one on the preferences page and store it in config.xml i think)

a likely story... [Image: laugh.gif]

Thanks for your suggestions. Keep em coming!
