Channel does not change upon wake

D10 satellite box with serial cable and directv.exe


Able to record scheduled programs and have channel change. Does not record proper program following awakening from hibernate due to lack of channel change. Any ideas?

What kind of channel changer do you use? I know some devices (like the pvr-350) does not function fully (tv-out is disabled) after hibernate wakeup. Maybe your channel changer has similar problems? The tv-out from the 350 could be restarted with a script after wakeup, perhaps your channel changer could be manipulated in a similar way. Somehow.

My channel changer is the serial cable with directv.exe, I use the MVP for viewing

Sounds like a bug with directv.exe rather than GB-PVR.

Yes, could you try calling directv.exe manually after a hibernation wakeup? I guess this would confirm suspicions...
