Hi all,
Just started using the program. I downloaded the weather plugin and installed it ok. Set the 'zip-code' as per the instructions (UKXX0072 for Ipswich, UK). At first I was able to get weather details. Then I exited the program and restarted it. When I now select weather, I get the message window reading 'Error: Input string was not in a correct format.'
I've checked the plugin settings, they are still the same - any ideas?

Ian.

Hopefully CodeMonkey may have some ideas?

None really. I just tried your area code and it worked fine. Maybe for some reason you are having trouble connecting to the weather server. Did you try again at some later time?

Does this happen if weather is the only plugin enabled? Or which combination of plugins cause this?

Cheers,

I have checked,

my weather plugins looks fine, but the size plugin does not work. Both of them are enabled.

not sure this will help.

Hi, just wondering if there are any resolutions to this problem.

I only have the weather plugin, if I choose a US code the weather works fine, however if I choose a UK code it does not, and I receive the same 'Error: Input string was not in a correct format.' message.

Hope this helps...

Crashme, if you look at the post above yours, you will see that the weather plugin works for him so it was resolved with no action.

If you post what area code you are using that has problems I will have a look.

Hi, all UK codes seem to fail for me, have tried UKXX0133 (Sheffield) , UKXX0085 (London) , UKXX0034 (Chesterfield) and UKXX0092 (Manchester), with the message 'Error: Input string was not in a correct format.'

however any US code seems to works fine, such as USAR0340 , USOH0878 , USMO0170.

Any suggestions ?

I just looked at those UK areas fine here. What is your region/locale set to? US or UK or some other?
