Hi everyone,

I have found the culprit as to why the programs do not show up in my Recordings/XRecord after being recorded.

I noticed that when I try and run comclean it does this (comclean never works either for that matter), I then generated my comclean.err and here are the results:

Code:
Invalid range [-]
The system cannot find the file specified.

and as for my PostProcessing.bat:

Code:
rem comskip %1
call comclean %1 >>comclean.log 2>>comclean.err
Renamerecording %
rectracker %1 > rectracker.log

The help is appreciated like always.

RGDS & TIA

Maybe I'm out of range here, but don't you have to run comskip first in order to run comclean? You have "rem" before comskip, which means that comskip won't run. In previous versions of gbpvr, and probably still in the current one, comskip will not run automatically if you have a PostProcessing.bat file present.

stefan,

Actually from what I understand is that the new GB-PVR automatically processes comskip if it finds it in the GB-PVR directory.

Only if there is no PostProcessing.bat file (or if you've configured it to run during the recording).

Please be aware though that comskip may not have finished processing by the time PostProcessing.bat is run, so its possible comclean will produce inconsistant results.

sub,

Do you suggest then I do not run comskip via config and use the postprocessing.bat instead?

If you need to use comclean then you bet is to run it as part of PostProcessing.bat. This way you can sure of the order things will be run.

Well,

I unchecked to run comskip during recording and then did a test recording with comclean enabled but still the recordings do not show up in XRecord or Recordings.

Here is my comclean.err:

Code:
range [0:21:1-0:35:44] results in invalid [219821397-373748673] range
The system cannot find the file specified.

Thats not my fault, you'll need to talk to the author of these utilities about this (comclean/comskip). GB-PVR is living up to its end of the bargain by running PostProcessing.bat.

What you add to PostProcessing.bat is not my responsibility. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I really know nothing about comclean, RenameRecording and these other utilities which you're running here, and I'm busy enough trying to support my own stuff.
