just a minor change: the buttons react to mouse-clicks now.

shutdown v2.41

maybe it would be nice to have the Shutdown Plugin read out the order of
buttons in the skin.xml file. this seems to be hardcoded and when i want a different
order i adjust the xml file, now when i do this, its only shown as i want it, but when
moving up and down with the cusor keys, he is jumping a bit lazy between the buttons ...

Code:
    <Buttons>
        <Button name="Main Menu" loc="280,112" />
        <Button name="Exit"      loc="280,182" />
        <Button name="ShutDown"  loc="280,252" />
        <Button name="Restart"   loc="280,322" />
    </Buttons>

When a record is running and i try to shutdown or restart an error message appears,
which said that something is not defined ... but i'm using the correct skin.xml ...

i guess it was a manual recording (not one sheduled via tv guide)?

there seems to be a problem when trying to get the title and subtitle of a manual recording leading to an exception (because there is no epg-data for manual recordings). in this case the chosen filename (specified in the manual rec-dialog in recordings) is displayed.

i corrected it and also included your 'button-order' request

you have to add the attribute 'order' to your skin.xml

<Button name="Main Menu" loc="280,112" order="0" />
<Button name="Exit" loc="280,182" order="1" />
<Button name="ShutDown" loc="280,252" order="2" />
<Button name="Restart" loc="280,322" order="3" />

[edit]Attachment removed. you can get it from the wiki

Smile - working great until now ... it was a manual scheduled recording - you're right !

Another question ...

what kind of poweroff or restart function the plugin uses ? i have sometimes the problem,
that some programs cannot be closed and so the computer dont restart or shutdown.

when i use the program poweroff and add the -force parameter it works everytime ...
but it poweroffs the machine immediately without checking if a record is still running !

it uses the standard win32-api 'exitWindowsEx'-function. hibernation/shutdown/reboot. no force option.

i will add a force option to the plugin (anytime soon).

For anyone interested. I've had a quick hack around with the skin.xml for BlueMCE2 for the shutdown command.
