Selective conversion

Yes, as the subject states, i would like to be able to select in the recording-setup which recordings should be converted after they been recorded.
Like a box to tick in or something.

Why this then?
Well, i watch my simpsons-episodes on my pda, but only them, and it would be neat to have them alreadymade when i'm about to copy them to my pda.

Why not convert everything, then delete the conversions you don't want.
Or to save space, convert everything and delete the originals?

Well, ofcourse that would work as well,however it takes quite a while to convert the lot, and i wan't my pc to be hibernated when not used... it is rather noisy and so
