I've been running the newest release for a few days now and I just recently had an error pop up. It was a Windows message telling me it had to adjust the VM size because it had run out of virtual memory. Wondering who the culprit was that was eating up all my VM, I discovered huge amounts allocated to the various gbpvr sessions. See the screenshot:

VM Memory Size

So, this shouldn't be expected, should it?

Are you doing anything in particular? What skin / plugins are you using.

I've been monitoring gbpvr.exe in perfmon for the last couple hours, and the memory usage hasnt increased at all. I'm running the stock v0.94.12 release, with standard blue skin, and no extra plugins. I'll leave it run over night to check.

Are you running the weather plugin? If so, how many cities are you monitoring?

I'm running with the Weather plugin (monitoring 3 cities) and My Videos plugin, using the default Blue skin. Over the course of the last few days I've recorded probably 6 programs, if that's a factor. I also am now running two MVPs, in case that's a factor.

By the way, I rebooted last night after my post, and there have been no recordings since then. You'll notice it's gotten quite substantial again and it's not been doing anything. If you think the Weather plugin may be the culprit I'll be happy to disable it, or disconnect the MVPs for a while too.

Thanks for your help,

Try removing the weather plugin temporarily. I was getting the same thing, and I think that is what it was. I was monitoring 7 or 8 locations...
