Are multiple MVP's connected to one GBPVR pc supported ?
Not talking about live TV, just want to stream recorded shows.

I think the limit was 8 MVP's but that may not be the case anymore.

For some reason I can only get one of my mvps to connect at a time. When one works, the other one just either rotates between - Contacting DHCP - and - MVP Bootserver - on the startup. At best it will get to Loading Application and a couple of times it has managed to get to the Contacting servers screen but just infinitly tries to contact.

Any ideas?

How many servers have you configured to autostart? You need one per MVP.

Thanks sub. I have been playing with this for only a week and just noticed now that only one worked at a time.

Actually - I just noticed through the forums that there was even a requirement for this.

Awesome product!!

I have changed that setting but for some reason I still can't get two to work. I have two instances of gbpvr.exe in taskmanager so I know it is loading them.

I am running a PIII 800 MHz with only 256MB RAM, do I need to run this on something more powerful? I have a bunch of machines here but I was hoping to use one of my -obsolete- ones.

I'm on a PIII 800 with 512mb and running 2 MVP's with no problem. Both can be playing recordings and the PC recording a show with no glitches.

I have four MVPs and the only connection problem I run into is if two or more are trying to connect at the same time. In that case the best thing to do is to unplug all of them and plug them in one at a time and wait for each one to get connected before connecting the next one.

Maybe I will go to 512MB and see if that makes a difference. Frustrating though. Although I never watch more than one TV at a time... I can't stand being beat by technology!!
