Hello sub, i would tell you a little bug(?) of the Installer from GB-PVR. If i choose another directory, than the default one, the folder "devnz" will be created though. If i delete this (empty) folder, at next start of GB-PVR is starting the Installer -Package for "repairing" and making again the (empty) devnz.

I can confirm this behavior in the current version of 0.99.12.

I like to install programs to child directories under C:\Program Files\. Therefore, I chose to install GB-PVR to C:\Program Files\GBPVR rather than C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr.

Everytime I run the program, it checks to see if the C:\Program Files\devnz directory exists. If it does, the program starts right up. But if I've deleted it, I have to wait 10-15 seconds while a message says something like "Please wait while GB-PVR is configured...". Afterwards, I see that the devnz directory has been recreated (though it's empty).

I don't know whether a registry cleaner would fix this or not.. And it's not a major issue; as long as I leave the empty devnz directory existent, everything works fine.

The point of my thread was to report a bug (however insignificant it may seem) to the developer. Ideally, if a program allows the user to specify the installation directory, it should work the same regardless of whether the user uses the default directory or changes it to another directory. I can surely live with it Smile
