gb-pvr recording service not found on computer...
I keep getting this error. What does it mean? I installed Setup018l.exe onto Windows Xp MCE...

You can get this error if you installed the Microsoft .net v1.1 runtime after you installed GB-PVR. If this is the case, uninstall GB-PVR and (re)install.

If this is not the problem, search the forums for the text 'installutil' for instructions on installing it manually.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. .net was already installed before GB-PVR was installed and I still had this problem. Also I already tried uninstalling then reinstalling GB-PVR but I still get the same message. And finally, this is happening on two separate computers with the same exact version of GB-PVR etc.. Thanks for your suggestion about some type of 'manual install'. I will try to locate that info on here somehow. I guess it will explain how to install the GB-PVR service manually?

It will lead you to instructions of manually installing the recording service, which doesn't seem to have installed for some reason on your machine.
