New Plugin: SystemStatus

Hi made a new plugin.

It's pretty basic. Shows some information about how much EPG data you have, the size of your root drive, and recordings drive. Also shows what your machine will do when idle.

I've had it working with Blue and BlueMCE2 skins and GB-PVR 94.12.
Needs CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll to run (included in zip)

Comments welcome.

And if anyone wants, I've converted a plugin skeleton to VB.net rather than C#.

Does it work with a UNC path as recording drive?

I've just changed my config file to a network share, and yes it picked it up. So it seems to.

I just tried downloading on 2 different machines and both report the zip file being corrupted. Can you repost or get it uploaded to the wiki?

I've had the exact same problem. some seem to be able to download, others not :-(

Hi, I've downloaded and installed it but it does not show up in my menu. I am using the Flat Blue - High Vis skin, so I copied the skin directory over. The only clue from the error log is:

Hi all. I re-attached. I don't know how to add to a wiki, so if someone could pass on some guidelines, I'd be happy to try.

Spartan, those first 4 lines are mine, the other 3 are not. I don't have any "/settings/NamedColors/NamedColor" settings.

I found, that I had to run config first, and run gbpvr. Maybe it's how config.xml gets updated to say that this plugin is available??

I got the zip to open using 7-zip, XP's decompress does not work. The zip contains an old version of the commongbpvrutilies and doesn't appear to work with the latest version of gbpvr. When I copied the new version back in the plugin comes up but the epg stuff runs off the screen and I can't page to see the bottom.

Ok, that's dangerous I suppose. I'll remove the commonGBPVRUtilites.dll from the zip.

How many days of EPG do you have?? I can only get about 8 so it fits nice. I'll try and figure out a paging method.

Do you think this may have a use??

I've been very busy at work of late so I haven't been good at keeping the wiki up to date. The version of commongbpvrutilities.dll up there may well be old. The video archive, weather, and music player polug-in all include this dll. Plug-ins that use it should be able to work with any version; I try to maintain backwards compatibility between releases.
