"my pictures" missing from wiki

I don't see the "My Pictures" plug-in in the current wiki.
I see it in the old wiki.

Is this just a mistake... or is the "My Pictures" plug-in no longer desirable?
I'm new to gbpvr, and this is the only picture viewing plug-in I'm aware of.

I'm using the my pictures plug in from the old wiki, it works very well indeed, tho you'll need to fool with the skin file some to get it right with the new versions of GBpvr.

I don't think the new version of my pictures has been released yet, still in beta i beleive.

Thats a pitty. I am fairly new to GBPVR and programming in general. The old mypictures shows one or a few pictures (in great quality on the MVP) and than hangs. The only way out is to shut the MVP down and restart.

Is there a way to get the beta or can you give us some help skinning the plugin nightwalker?

I can certianly post the file that works for me with the flat blue hi vis skin as long as tieke and reven have no objections to me doing that.

Those creative types are a little touchy about people modifying their stuff and posting it.

I haven't seen the my pictures bete yet, i think reven said something about wanting to finish the my music plug in first. I'm sure he'll correct me if i'm wrong about that.

Well since I use the high vis flat blue skin too that would be of great help.

Post away! - feel free to make any changes to the skin you like However I thought that the current FBHV skinning should work with My Pictures 2 - it works fine for me via the main computer, but I haven't tried it via the MVP, so it could be a plugin issue for Koenie.

Reven has almost finished My Pictures 3 (just some skinning work to do), so if Koenie still can't get it to work after trying out the new skin, may be best to hold out for the new version.

I agree, i see that my pictures 3 beta is up. no point in trying to keep the old versions running when there is a new one out.

At any rate here's the file i use for my pictures2 with the flat blue hi vis skin on the mvp. There were not many changes at all, i forget exactly what it was i did change but it was subtle and just enough to get it to work with the new versions.

the reason why my pics 2 isnt on the new wiki is there is a major major major bug in it, if you have large image files it will chew up your memory until its all gone.

and im toolazy to write a new wiki page.

Indeed, I have seen the Mypictures 2 eating up my ram + pagefile in a few minutes. So I switched to the 3 beta which sort of works with the standard blue skin. I can run a normal slide show, but not in random mode. In that case only the first image is shown. I see the PC render the pictures (taskamanager load) but the MVP does not display.

Using the FBHV skin I get an invalid parameter used error and shutting down the MVP is the only way out then.

Anyway I might just be a little more patient for the my series v3 to get finished.

The large files problem is probably why i've never had any trouble with my pictures. Most if not all of my stored images are under a meg each.
