I am still having some problems with the aborts when changing channels. Here are the log files and a JPG of the abort. Completely re-installed NextPVR using the latest files.
I am using a HD Homerun Prime and a Raspberry Pi 2 to stream live TV to my TV. NextPVR is installed on a Windows 7 Pro server. The issue that I now have is that the video and audio are out of sync.
Are there any tweaks or changes that I can make that will correct the out of sync issue?
Now that I got Live TV working, I can move onto the next item. The TV guide is not populating with content. I have the channels, but I get "No Show Details" in the body. I did a little research previously, and learned that I had to purchase a schedule from "Schedules Direct". I'm currently using the seven day trial period.
I updated the EPG in the Channels setting to use Schedules Direct on all three tuners. Am I missing something else in the settings?
Maybe it would be good idea to use small RAM buffer when directory is not specified.
It's not rare that users are not aware of RAM disks... is it stupid to build a HTPC with a SSD drive only?
After installing a HD5450 video card of a different brand, I now have flickering on some channels, with USA the best example. The flickering is a lightening-darkening of the overall picture at about a 2-3 Hz rate. I think I may have had this in the past, but I don't recall what fixed it, or if it went away. Here are the specifics:
Win 7 Home Premium
MS DTV-DVD video decoder
AC3 Filter audio decoder
EVR renderer
All others default
HD Homerun Prime tuner
I did not do anything to the video drivers; I just let Windows do its thing. The AMD driver is 12.x or something like that, checked in Device Manager.
The channel (USA) plays in HDHomerun View with no flicker. A recording from USA plays in VLC with no flicker. VLC says the file is 1080i.
In NPVR, live TV flickers as well as multiple recordings from the channel. I think PBS is 1080i, and it plays fine, as do all broadcast channels, so not all 1080i is affected.
I ran the latest NPVR installer to get all the updates; no difference.
The file plays fine over the network on my NPVR test box running an earlier install of 3.4.8.
The NPVR log is unremarkable, but I'll get if needed.
I installed NextPVR 3.4.8 on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit server. The source is an HD HomeRun Prime. I configured the devices and can see all three tuners with 211 channels each. When I select Live TV, the screen is blank. If I start Windows Media Center, I can what Live TV with no issue. Did I miss something in the configuration?
All yesterdays posts have been labeled Today until I posted at about 08:55 UK Summertime - now they have updated but my post time is timed at 12:58AM someone needs to get the key and wind it up
I am moving over from using BeyondTV because I would like to integrate a HD-PVR 2 which I have connected to my Cable STB. I also have two Hauppauge 1600 tuners which I drive with an antenna for OTA reception. I have gotten the 1600's integrated in and the HD-PVR 2 recognized, EPG loaded, etc. Where I am having problems is figuring out how to get NPVR to send the channel commands to the STB through the USB-UIRT. I am using EventGhost and the USB-UIRT for controlling my Kodi front-end and other programs. I downloaded HIP to give it a try but I am missing something in understanding how to get this configured. I have searched the forum (and the Wiki) and although there are lots of hints I cannot find a post/entry that walks through how to set up NPVR and the USB-UIRT blaster. In BTV this was integrated in the package so I have yet to put this part of the chain together.
Any help or a link to an explanation would be great!
Hi I am hoping somebody can help with a problem I am having. I have just installed NextPVR. I am using an EPG datasource which I download from Icetv. I have setup all the channels in NextPVR and I go to the guide in NExtPVR and it works, shows next 7 days worth of Guide Data. I also have installed the Kodi Plugin, I look at the EPG there, and it shows the next 7 days worth. However when i load up NEWA everything is blank under Guide. Nothing is showing. I have tried restarting, reinstalling to no avail.
If I go back to when I first installed I did a EPG scan with the tuner which grabbed a few hours worth. If i move the guide back to that range it shows what was grabbed there, but it doesn't appear to be using the EPG Datasource same as NextPVR & Kodi Plugin.
