Does the TV listings plug-in provide a way to highlight new episodes of a show?
I'm looking for some indicator (an icon or asterisk) in the listings themselves (so I can spot new episodes easily), not in the expanded description at the bottom.
I just recently stood up NextPVR on a Windows 7 Pro server. The client is a Raspberry Pi 2 with OpenElec as the OS. The EPG is correct on the server, but when I look at the client, programming is off, and channel numbers are not correct.
I'll try and explain a little better. The guide on my server shows a particular program starting at 7:00 pm on a particular channel. The name of the program and channel number is correct, however, when I look at the guide on my client, the program listed for the particular channel and time is not the same as what is on the servers guide. When I say that the channel number is wrong, what I mean by that is; my regular channel number for a particular channel number might be 1058, but on the client it's 148. Big difference.
I've tried clearing out the EPG database and repopulating it, but it didn't make difference. Any other suggestions on what I can do?
For the past month, I have found that I occasionally need to stop the NPVR service then start the NPVR service again (using the icons in the NPVR folder in the Start menu) in order to get the NPVR web interface running. In trying to troubleshoot, I am not sure where to look to find any evidence of a problem. I don't think there is anything in the Windows logs (not included but tell me if I need to upload these) or in the NPVR logs (included). Little help?
I have Windows 8.1 with 2 Hauppauge 2250 tuners. Channel changes are slow, fast in Media Center and Win TV 8. After 4 changes, system hangs and give the tuner busy message.
Not sure what is going on, looks like 10 second channel changes.
I've been running NextPVR for a few weeks on a system with two tuner cards - a TBS 6221 and a TBS 6920
As of today, the former has stopped working within NextPVR - Windows can see it, and the NextPVR settings page can see it and scan it (spotting the channels I deliberately removed from the list), but actually trying to watch a channel on the TBS 6221 (like BBC 1) results in the error "unable to find available capture device" being displayed. Accessing a channel on the other card works fine.
Logs are attached, including my FilterCheck log (I did a good hunt around the forums!)
The bad news is that I had a disk failure. The good news is that it was all backed up. This was not my main disk but the one that I use to store recordings.
The second bad news is that may have messed up the recovery. Now I need help.
After installing the replacement disk, I restored several of the recordings. To test that all was well, I started up NPVR and was able to view the programs. So, I shut NPVR down and restored the rest of the recordings. Now the bad news. When I restarted NPVR, all I can see are the few "test" recordings that I first restored. I can't see the rest.
How can I get NPVR to recognize all the recordings on the disk?
When I try to set up the NextPVR PVR client in Kodi 15.0 and i back out of it, it won't keep the server address of 127.0.0.1 even after hitting done. I am trying to record using the NEXTPVR client. Any suggestions? I am using an android tablet is that makes a difference.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get the 7 day Sky EPG OTA?
I have a number of FTA SKY channels which pickup the Now & Next EPG from their specific channel frequency but like for Freesat, I'd like to capture the 7 day EPG for those channels.
Hi Sub and/or anyone else who may be able to help. Is it possible to use the Schedules Direct API to get the lineups that I've setup in my SD account rather than lineups for a given Zip Code? When I provide my zip code, the Charter Digital lineup that is returned isn't the correct one and I don't see any way to fix it. Maybe you could change the SD Manage Lineups interface to have a couple of radio buttons to choose between the retrieving lineups via User or via Zip Code? Thanks in advance for the help!
I just reinstalled NPVR after upgrading my computer to 64-bit Windows. Some of my old EPG tools aren't working with the new version of Windows, so I currently have NPVR using Schedules Direct as the EPG source.
That works fine, but I'm wondering if there's a way to highlight which shows are new episodes in the TV Guide? NPVR knows which episodes are new for recording the shows, so I'm hoping there's an easy way to show them in the guide?
