Hi,
I'm having troubles getting an EPG auto update to work. But updating manually from NPVR works fine.
Attached logs show the auto-update issue (NRecord.log), and the manual update working (NPVR.log).
Running on Win 8.1 x64. System did have 3.3.8 installed (and same EPG update issue). But 3.3.8 uninstalled & Users\Public\NPVR deleted before this install.
I tried the latest version I could see of NShared.dll (from 5/22). Also, the SchedulesDirect URL in the config file didn't seem to have the same date as the interface that was reported in the manual log, so I changed it. But neither seemed to make any difference.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!!
Evening, I am getting the following issue with my NPVR Record Service and it keeps crashing and stopping. I think it only happens when both of my tuners are in use. Can someone help me identify the issue?

Logs attached and also it is worth noting that I am using NextPVR with Kodi.
Just in case someone else runs into this same problem, I wanted to post with info to save others' time.
When I launched X-NEWA this morning, all that I got was a blank screen. I tried rebooting the PI, stopping and restarting the NextPVR Recording Service, turning on debugging, etc. Finally, I noticed this line in the kodi.log:
Code:
12:14:19 T:1832866880 NOTICE: [Errno 28] No space left on device
I was using an old 2GB micro SD card, and sure enough, it was indeed full.
FYI, here's what I did to fix the problem:
Shutdown Kodi and the RPi
Remove the micro SD card from the RPi
Put the card in my Windows machine
Use Win32 Disk Imager to copy the card contents to an image file
Remove the micro SD card from Windows and replace with a larger card
Use Win32 Disk Imager to write the image file to the new card
Put the new card into the RPi and boot
At this point, the /storage partition is still the old size on the new card. Forunately, OpenElec has a super easy what to fix this.
SSH into the RPi and login as root
Use the command touch /storage/.please_resize_me to create a file to trigger OpenElec to resize the partition
Reboot the RPi
When OpenElec boots, it will find the trigger file and expand the storage partition to fill the SD card
I have a strange problem at one computer, I start a recording from the tv guide using quick record, I can see that the file grows, but npvr markes the recording as "Recording service not running at recording time", however the file is fully playable. The Nrecord.log has some error saying:
Code:
Unexpected error saving metadata: String cannot be of zero length.
Parameter name: oldValue
2015-05-23 14:15:01.762 [DEBUG][9] Invalid file passed to StartPostProcessing(): ''
but the PostProcessing.bat is present and accessible.
Hi,
My recording service keeps stopping every day or so. It will restart without complaint if I restart it from the services section of the windows control panel, but the wife gets a bit annoyed!!! ;-)
I've attached the whole log directory... does anyone have any idea why it's happening? Is there something definite in the log that I can address on my system?
I've been running NPVR on Windows 7 using HDHomerun prime for the past 2 months without a hitch. This morning it just stopped working and I can't seem to figure out why. I have 3 Kodi systems running 14.2 that until today have been flawless. I've checked the Windows 7 machine and NPVR seems to be working fine. All Kodi instances can play recorded programs, it's jus live TV that's not working. The NPVR logs only have 1 error in them which is below but it looks like this error was there in an old log from 5/4/2015:
Any ideas where I can look? I thought maybe that Windows Firewall was turned back on but it's not. No windows updates occurred. Wife & kids aren't happy. Any help will be appreciated!

New to NextPVR but have it working. Running Windows 8.1 with 2 Hauppauge 2250 cards. Records great and plays TV most of the time. My issue is the changing of channels in live tv mode. It hangs up often and says can't change because tuner recording, but I have nothing recording plus 4 different tuners.
Attached are my logs, nice product . I use video Render EVR and ffdshow video recorder. Sound and everything works.
Just upgraded to version 3.4.8. So far, so good after a few install glitches that I resolved by reading this forum. But I noticed with this version that a recording now has a "xxxx.ts.timing.info" file created for each recording.
I never got that file in previous version. What is it used for and is it really needed? If not needed, is there a way to turn off the creation of it?
Is anyone else getting Server offline? I just installed nextpvr and tried to set epg and i get server offline.....below is the error in the log:
