My system uses multiple tuners including a Hauppauge HDPVR with an IR remote control. When the remote is started the HDPVR system completely shuts down for up to ten seconds while loading the remote driver software putting a hole in any recording which may be happening on that device at the time. To avoid this I use "NScriptHelper.exe -isinuse" to prevent the remote startup. Thus if ANY tuner is recording the remote won't start. Therefore the wish that "NScriptHelper.exe -isinuse" return WHICH tuner(s) is/are recording.
When I'm playing back video (e.g. a recorded TV show), I get get NextPVR to show my current playback location on the screen by pressing pause, then play again ... but that's a pain to stop the playback. I have tried Play or OK - neither of which do anything, but I would have expected one (or both of them) to show the playback info / location. Is this possible to configure?
My apologies, as I'm sure this is captured somewhere already - but I have searched the forums and Wiki. Can't find anything on it, but it is likely me ... .
But that said - is there a way to set up a series recording? I want to save a title, and have NextPVR automatically add recordings in the future as new items show up on the EPG.

I'm switching from wmc to kodi and wanted to use nextPVR as TV-backend.
My problem I can't receive some hd channels, not so worse if I could receive at least Arte in HD.
Don't know why, everything else works like a charm...
I was looking on the NexPVR website for a statement about the compatibility of NextPVR with Windows 10. I couldn't find one. The only statement I did find is at the following page. http://nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Qu...requisites
Windows 8 is the latest OS mentioned as acceptable.
1) Can anyone provide insight regarding Win 10 and NextPVR?
2) Can anyone comment on the best path to migrate from Win 7 to "Win 10 + NextPVR". Go to Win 10 first, or install Next PVR first?

Microsoft Media Center always showed what was a repeat. If it didn't say "Repeat", then it was a new episode. That gave me the opportunity to quickly scan for where the new programs were.
The guide XML files I have use the <date> tag to provide the original airing date. I could see if the <date> tag was different than the guide date, then it would be a repeat. I certainly don't know if all XML files include that tag, but if it is available it would be good to know if the program was a repeat or not. Even just posting the original air date would be useful.
I just upgraded my Nextpvr to the most current version (3.4.8), and in doing so I completely uninstalled the old version before I installed the new one. One of the reasons I did this was to eliminate the old channel lineup so that I could rescan a new one as I have upgraded my antenna and should get more channels than I did. So in the new installation I have zero channels to start, as you would expect. I go to the settings->devices->device setup->scan. All of my devices are listed there, and all seem to be functioning normally. The scan goes through the full range of frequencies from 2-69 and all the channels I expect to show up are found.

Then when it says that the scan is complete, I click the OK button and get this

No channels ever get added to the list. I have scanned over and over. I have rebooted. I have reinstalled. I have disabled all other devices. Nothing works.
Could someone repost this again. I'm having ComSkip problems and I keep seeing this batch file referred to but the link is no longer valid. I've tried looking in the GBVR sections but I'm not seeing it.
