This is something new that seems to have popped up....... crashes the recording service....
Looking at my config file the schedules direct migration element is set to false... but this was working so I assume it should be manually set to true?

Hi- Something in the upgrade process to 3.38 has caused NEWA to stop working. I've tried deleting all epg data and updating. I also tried replacing the installed version of NEWA with the latest build from the wiki NEWA build. I've attached a log. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
First, when I watch live-tv via dvbs the picture hangs for 2 or 3 seconds every 20 or 30 minutes or so.
And second the epg does not update or is not shown for all channels( I use epg from dvbs, because I have no internet on this PC)
So that is what I can describe, please tell me if you need further informations.
The Pc is at 3.8Ghz, I guess is fast enough for dvbs, location is Germany, Npvr version is 3.38.
I have a problem with NPVR and XBMC when I start record while another is already in progress on the same multiplex.
My configuration is as follows:
- NPVR (3.2.9 with patch 11 & 12) installed on my server (Windows 8.1 64) with dual DVB-T tuners (Cinergy T PCIe Dual Digital Tuner).
- XBMC (13.2 margro) on my NUC (Windows 7 32).
- All connected by gigabit ethernet.
The problem and situation:
- Recording of one HD channel in progress (eg "M6 boutique" on M6) (9h38)
- Playing one HD channel on the same multiplex (eg "Petits secrets entre voisins" on TF1) (9h40)
- Recording of the channel during playback (TF1) (9h42) -> freeze of XBMC with the following messages:
"Information: An unexpected error occurred. Try again later or check the log for details.
The PVR backend does not support this action. Check the log for details."
I've done an initial port of my Confluence mods to the Helix beta. If you're one of the few folks using my Confluence mods for the NextPVR integration, you can now try it with Helix. Once you upgrade to Helix, you should uninstall my two repos (the skin one and the beta addon one), and then install the two new Helix repos from here:
I upgraded to 3.3.8 on Friday night, and things seemed to be working. Tonight was the first night where we started up multiple Popcorn Hours, and things crashed around 8pm local time. I had a couple recordings scheduled to start at that same time, so I'm not sure what could have been the culprit. I can't get into npvr now - I get the window stating "Unable to Start Service". Could be the database I guess, since that's been in operation for a year...
Now that beta2 of Kodi is out I need to move my development setup to Kodi full time to avoid python bugs creeping in. So far it looks ok, but they have have last minute changes that I needed to have fixed before the release. This is my last version testing heavily on Gotham
2.4.6
- potential improvement so Web Client speed
- problem scrolling EPG - error in debug message in Standard Time.
- filter recording (unfortunately summary screen needs next version of NEWA)
- search criteria (cast needs next version of NEWA)
- subtitle, season/episode added to playback screens
- fixed pvr:// mode
- added touch gestures to web client.
I'd like to hear if you think Web Client is faster.
OK, I just discovered a strange problem with 3.3.8. I use an NMT almost exclusively for NPVR. This morning, I was going through my recordings list and discovered that the recording which was supposed to be CSI from last Sunday didn't contain CSI since CBS had postponed it due to a football game running late. So, I went to the TV Guide (the built-in one, not the TV Listings one which I don't use) to manually set that episode of CSI to record tonight. (The recurring recording wouldn't select it because NPVR thought it had already recorded this episode.)
That's where the strangeness began... The TV Guide didn't display ANY of the shows for tonight in red indicating that they were scheduled to be recorded! I went ahead and moved the selection to the CSI episode and then manually scheduled it to be recorded. I didn't use the normal Quick Record button on the remote like I usually do since I wanted to increase the post-padding to 60 minutes in case it was delayed. Then the guide on the NMT showed CSI in red, but still none of the other shows. I went to the pending recordings list, and they were listed there. Then I went back to the guide, and discovered that the red bar across the top of the timeline indicated scheduled recordings, but still the only individual show which was displayed in red was the manual recording of CSI.
So, next, I went to NPVR on the PC to see what it showed. It had all of the automatic recurring recordings in red, but not the manual CSI recording. (see screenshot) I then went to the pending recordings list on the PC and it definitely showed CSI as scheduled. (see screenshot) Very strange!
Then I went back to the TV Guide on the NMT to take a screen shot of what it was showing. And now, it is displaying the same thing as the PC--recurring recordings are showing as red, but the manual recording of CSI is not. At this point, I'm very confused! :-(
I've zipped and attached the logs directory. It should contain all of the server logs from this entire time. Unfortunately, I didn't have the NMT putty logging turned on, so I don't have the MVPMCX2 output.
I am quite new to NextPVR and HD TV tuner card and Live TV on XBMC HTPC. Couple of days back Installed Hauppauge 1250 card and installed NextPVR PVR on my Win7 HTPC. I am using Winegard Flatwave AMED internal HDTV antenna.
Every thing is working fine as expected with NextPVR PVR application. I can watch TV on my HTCP using NextPVR PVR. :
But when I try to watch Live TV using XBMC Frodo using NextPVR PVR addon getting "NextPVR PVR client Tuner not available error" Screen Shot attached.
I followed quick start guide on NextPVR PVR site also on lifehacker site on how to set up NextPVR PVR. but Luck
Any Help will be really appreciated. Of course I can with OTA Live TV using NextPvr by itself, but I don't want to swithc back and forth between XBMC and NextPVR.
