I was trying to set a genre color, and it didn't seem to want to stick. I then noticed that all the genre listings were doubled - there was a complete set after the first list. When I set the color for both "Sports", then it stuck around.
I am running Win7 with Silicon Dust HomeRun Prime. I have been trying for 2 days to get NextPVR to pull in Live TV and I am totally stuck. I have updated with the patch. I have been able to get NPVR to recognize the 3 Tuners (including ATSC, QAM and HD). I was also able to pull in all the Comcast channels and Bulk Map them to the 3 tuners for HD , but it did not find anything on ATSC or QAM. I then added the NPVR programs to my firewall exceptions. I also installed AC3filter. Loaded all the codecs I could find, and I have tried numerous combinations. The results each time have been the same. Black screen, with no audio. TV Guide does appear to work. I even re-installed NextPVR and re-patched. At this point I am out of options as to why I am getting nothing. I have attached my log files here, in hopes someone can point me to a solution.
I have updated imageGrabLite's wiki page with a small update when using the --nfo option Previously when a file was renamed iGL would delete the tvshow.nfo and episode.nfo. It now keeps tvshow.nfo when the Series name and the NextPVR series name are different. Two recent shows I am getting "The Americans" and "Zero Hour" need to have (2013) for XBMC and iGL is properly naming the files, but because the folder doesn't have the year XBMC scrapes them as the original series.
A future update to iGL might rename the folder if this doesn't work out reliably.
my dvb-c tuner is automatically set to DVB-T and i have no clue how to change this value... could anybody give me a hint how to configure the device correctly?
How do these interact? I've had a rudimentary play with the nextpvr plugin in xbmc (on a pc and an apple tv).
Will the web console allow (later?) for the ability to transcode a video for lower capable devices?
X-newa does this with newa - but I like how integrated the nextpvr plugin in off the menus (that said I've only just updated newa to 1.31 to try and play around with the transcoding).
I have just purchased a new computer with Windows 8. I am trying to set up Nextpvr on it as a replacement for Windows Media Centre which is no longer bundled with Windows.
The problem I have is that having tuned in the channels (UK DVB-T) I have sound but no video. I have been into decoder settings and tried all of the available renderer and decoder settings.
Any suggestions on solving this very much appreciated.
