I see channel logos in all the screenshots for the web console, however, mine are not showing up. I have them in the media/channels folder and they show up in the NPVR client interface. Am I missing something?
Are the keyboard shortcuts hard-coded or is there a way to remap the keys for individual preference?
Also, when playing a recording with commercial skips, is there a way to skip ahead/skip back to the next/previous commercial break point or end of commercials point? I'm very used to using this in BeyondTV to quickly skip to the desired part of a show.
I have windows7 and a ceton cable card. I read that the only cases of it successfully integrating with xbmc is in using npvr, network recorder, and sageDCT. After following the detailed pdf instructions in the wiki, I got stuck on the step of seeing the network recorder (NR) in the Devices of NPVR after installing it. If I am following it correctly, after puting the dll and xml NR files in the NPVR data folder, I should start NPVR and see it in the devices but it's not in there.
I started and stopped the NPVR service at the appropriate stages but I must be missing something. The xml file didnt get updated with a Network Recorder ID either.
Please help
Okay, if I am playing a video in the Videos section, and I hit the Home key, the menu gets revealed, and the video continues playing in a smaller window. I can't seem to find the keystroke that will return me to watching the video full screen (or to stop the video, or anything to do with the video at this point). It doesn't say anything in the Wiki on the keyboard reference, is there such a key?
Have been trying to solve the problem with encrypted channels by using a Phoenix reader from AD-Teknik in Sweden together with NewCS and connecting Acamd to that. Ofcourse running in to some problems but first some info.
Windows 7, 64 bit. Capture card is a Technotrend CI-3650 CI and the input is DVB-C, swedish Canal Digital Cable-tv. All unencrypted channels work fine!
I have installed the NewCS and is running it using the newcs.xml below and get the log file also below.
I have placed the Acamd files in the "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\MDPlugins\USB 2.0 BDA DVB-C Tuner #1-1" folder and edited my cardclient.conf with this line:

I also edited the ACamd_PMT.txt with this:

where 000000 was found from the NewCS logs at initiation. I have also tried the original value but I guess that is for Canal Digital satelite.
After this is edited my DVD-C tuner under Devices in TV-Server NPVR settings and chaned HW to Multideck and scanned channels. The channels still said "encrypted". When I try to watch i channel the Acamd_monitor gives me the log you find at the very bottom. It just stops and nothing more happens and the client trying to watch the encrypted channel just freezes.
EDIT: I am running NewCS v 1.65 and Acamd 06.20. When looking in the NewCS webinterface I see that the reader is fine and it has desolved Keys for my Card. There is also some statements under "Entitlements". I don't exactly know what all this means except it seems to be some communication with the card at least. BUT, under statistics there is no packets sent or under user the acamd user is always offline. I guess that Acamd and NewCS cant communicate then?
I am not sure if the problem is in the server or the client but the end result seems to be the PVR add-on being disabled and restarted. Video stops and I am kicked back to the main menu. Dialogs open when the PVR starts again then same as when XBMC first starts.
Both server and client are Windows 7 64bit machines. Server running 2.5.9 with R2 updates and also tried reverting back to pre R2 NUtility.dll.
I don't think that it is a network or hardware problem as I had been using MediaPortal without this type of problem.
I attached my logs and also a screenshot showing the PVR is not enabled.
In the logs the problems start at 15:46:20.216.
The weblog shows the client trying to initiate a new session right in the middle of streaming.
NRecord shows nothing until I exit XBMC on the client at 15:58. (it never stopped timeshifting)
Other than that I am very happy with the quality of NPVR. Thank You!
When I click on one of my recordings and the VLC pop-up window appears, nothing happens...? Note that I am connecting to Web Console remotely and I only forwarded port 8877. Also, any chance SSL could be added?

I have added the unzipped files and enabled the add on like described before, but I do not get new information in the guide. I have updated the EPG in the settings (a message occurs while updating, something about "NetFrameWork"). Have I missed anything?

I am having trouble using nPVR in xbmc and by its self in general. I am running a WinFast DTV1000s on a core 2 duo with windows 7 x64 with most if not all the updates applied t. The xbmc version I am using is 12.0 Frodo running aeon nox.
I have been able to get next PVR to play tv and switch channels fine by its self (although sometimes it does not seem to pick up my tuner). I am able to view one channel in xbmc but if I press stop to change to another channel its goes to a black screen after it loads for a few min and says buffering. I tried recording in this mode and it seems to record, although I don't know where to find these recordings in xbmc I just went into the directory npvr points to in settings. I have no clue what is going on or how to fix it. Setting this up has been a nightmare first my ram stoped working replaced it then a storm nocked my antenna off my roof. I have attached my logs any help would be amazing.
