I tried a whole rake of decoders - no joy.
When playing back a recording in progress no longer a Black Screen but recording is only quarter of what I should see.

I'm having trouble displaying the preview image for "Pending Recordings" in the recordings2.xml. Before version 2.5.5, if a preview image existed in the media\shows subdirectory, I could display the preview image usings
It would make sense if the pip window also paused when the main window is paused. I realize that it can be a challenge to implement skip in parallel in the pip window also but it would be very nice to have
I have read a lot of posts and I am unclear to how the host PC is supposed to react with PC and NMT clients connected. It seems to be ok and stays awake streaming media but when it is a normal connect the sleep timer comes into play. Is that normal? I don't mind it on the PC client but the NMT doesn't always like these hard sockets closes.
Just updated to 2.5.5 (from 2.4.3? I think) to try to fix my problem with NPVR hanging when trying to delete a recording. Now it hangs when trying to cancel a pending recording, too. It also wiped out my what's new list and my pending recordings list, so I updated the EPG via the batch file (updateepg.bat, which lives in \Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts, which has never auto-updated, maybe you can tell me how to fix that as well), and then updated it in NPVR (settings channels update epg button) and that hung too! Logs attached, please help if you can. Thanks.
here is my scenario. I had my pc with at pvr150 and pvr 250. I replaced my PC recently and the new PC only had one pci slot so I put my pvr250 in and just took the 150 out. Unfortunately the 150 had the ir input and the 250 doesnt. I know my cheaper option would be to get a new ir receiver that is compatible with the 250. But I was thinking of getting another hauppauge car/stick and just spend a little more money and at least get another tuner out of the deal. I dont want to spend much. $50 max and I dont even really want to spend that much really. I was perfectly happy with the 150 quality and we dont watch hd. We only have analog cable. I was thinking about a hauppauge 950q. Im assuming that has the ir receiver right on the usb stick itself right?

Although the orange left/right arrows are still there I can't change the recording type any more.
I assume this crept in in the latest version?
The other functions [padding] etc do work.

I've had this with other files too, but most of the time when playing an MTS (AVCHD) file accessed from a Videos menu (Folder setup in config), the PCH locks up at the end of playing an MTS file from Videos, does not revert to playlist and I have to pull the power plug to get it the NPVR menu back?
I often watch active recordings after they have been recording for a while so I can skip commercials. All goes well till I catch up to live TV. At that point the end time on the right side of the slider stops updating. No biggie till I pause for something then come back and want to skip a commercial again. NPVR jumps me to the end time displayed on the screen (which may be an hour previous). I can work around it by simply exiting the play mode and then Play/Resume. All is good again till I catch up to live TV again. Here's a screen capture...

Maybe it's something simple to fix. Whenever you get time... I'm just so glad the "encrypted content" message went away!
