  Another DVD ISO problem in NPVR
Posted by: arkennedy75 - 2012-01-22, 07:27 PM - Forum: MVPMCX2 and other NMT stuff - Replies (20)

Below is a copy/paste of my npvr.cgi with the dvd ISO mount code added. The npvr.cgi file below will not let me load mvpmv from the PCH menus ("Request cannot be processed" error message). When I delete the 2 dvd mount lines of code from the NPVR.cgi file I have no problems loading mvpmc with my PCH. Do I have the syntax wrong? I'm trying to mount I:\PVR\Videos\dvd where my ISO's are located. Thank you.

#!/bin/sh

echo "Content-Length: 29";
echo "Content-type: text/html";
echo "";

cd ~
if [ -f /etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 ]
then
echo "mvmcx2 is loaded";
else
mkdir /etc/mvpmc
mkdir /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.100/dvd /mnt/I:\\PVR\\Videos\\dvd -o username=xxx,password=xxxx,ro
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.100/mvpmc /etc/mvpmc -o username=root,rw
cp /etc/mvpmc/utelnetd /usr/bin
ln -s /lib/librmjpeg.so /lib/libjpeg.so.62
ln -s /lib/librmzlib.so /lib/libz.so
ln -s /lib/librmzlib.so /lib/libz.so.1
ln -s /lib/librmzlib.so /lib/libz.so.123
utelnetd -l /bin/sh -p 23 &
echo "Telnetd started on port 23............";
fi
killall gaya
sh -c /etc/mvpmc/startmeup 2>/dev/null >/dev/null &

  [NPVR 2.3.6] Incomplete automatic EPG update
Posted by: tmrt - 2012-01-22, 07:06 PM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (90)

After update to 2.3.6 I no longer get full EPG update during the automatic updates. On the other hand, manual EPG update started from System plugin seems to fetch all available EPG data.

The problem is probably associated with the fact that my provider emits a partial EPG for any given channel on several transponders. Unfortunately only a singe transponder is emitting complete EPG. As a result only the last scanned transponder EPG is included, which is in most cases incomplete.

Is there a way to disable deleting of old listings after each transponder scan during automatic EPG update?

  Using ESC to exit live TV goes back to the top of the TV Guide. (2.3.6)
Posted by: martint123 - 2012-01-22, 05:05 PM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (11)

If I watch a live TV channel from browsing the TVGuide and use Escape to exit live TV it goes back to channel 1 in the TV guide.
I'm fairly sure (but can't be 100% without restoring) that previously it went back to the same channel in the TV guide where it left.
Just checking something else - right-clicking and using STOP does the same.

A little awkward for channel surfing.

  Logs
Posted by: imilne - 2012-01-22, 03:41 PM - Forum: Developers - Replies (2)

If I see the following in the logs:

Code:
2012-01-22 15:35:32.806 [DEBUG][1] Blah blah blah... 2012-01-22 15:35:32.866 [DEBUG][9] More waffle...

Do the numbers in braces ([1] and [9] in this case) refer to the thread running that code?

  IMON remote for NPVR
Posted by: Smoothie - 2012-01-22, 09:08 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (2)

Hi
I have just upgraded to Win7 (64 bit) and npvr 2.3.6. Under XP I was using the Hauppauge IR but would now like to use the cases built in IMON IR to receive the remote commands.
I have imported into the IMON manager the pvrx2.imo from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...and-Remote, however all I can get to do is move the mouse cursor around!
Has anybody managed to get the IMON IR to work with npvr?
I also use a Harmony learning remote which is set to be an IMON.
Cheers
Stu

  MCE pause button not working
Posted by: fuzzweed - 2012-01-22, 08:50 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (2)

The MCE pause button seems to be sending a double press when handled natively by npvr, so I cant pause TV. All other MCE buttons seem to send a single command only.
Log shows keyboard ctrl q working fine, followed by MCE pause button.

  hvr 1800 no analog scan
Posted by: jam_zhou - 2012-01-22, 03:40 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (6)

I am trying to set up my new Windows 7 64 bit htpc with npvr but when I set it up it doesn't see an analog tuner just atsc or QAM (and what's IPTV?). To test things out I set up windows media center and it found the channels just fine.

Note that I actually haven't installed any drivers, I've only let Windows 7 do all the work. Should i be installing wintv7 from http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...1800.html?

  NPVR recognize tuner in use by another program?
Posted by: ttfitz - 2012-01-22, 01:40 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (5)

In trying to use the Network Recorder plug-in to set recordings with Windows Media Center for encrypted channels, I was testing to make sure NPVR noticed that a tuner was in use, and would select the other, and it didn't seem to. On the dual tuner DCR-2650, I tested this out by viewing a channel with WMC, which started using tuner 0. I then selected in NPVR another program (unencrypted, so it would be doing things regularly, not through Network Recorder) to record, and while it indicated it was recording the program, it created a 0 byte file.

Looking at the logs, it appears NPVR was attempting to use tuner 0, and somehow didn't detect it was in use. Could I have something setup wrong with the DCR-2650, or is there a problem with NPVR?

Thanks.

  RandomPhoto in Plugins
Posted by: XJW - 2012-01-22, 12:52 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (2)

Minor issue but I thought I should post it. Each time I enter and leave the settings menu it is adding another entry for RandomPhoto in the plugins. I am deleting the entries from config.xml to clean it up. Anyone else seeing this one ?
