I wasn't sure whether to post this in general support or Plugins but decided on general as I'm having issues with multiple plugins and think my issue isn't related to the plugins.
I've upgraded to 2.1.4 and have also installed SearchLite and Music Box. I have a Logitech Harmony remote configured with a PVR Hauppauge 4000 device (my tuner type). This configuration works fine within NPVR itself, but in SearchLite and Music Box most of the buttons don't work. For example, when I press Left or Right in Music Box, the Search box at the top of the screen shows '_NAVIGATERIGHT' instead of changing the display. Most of the other buttons cause the same issue. It's the same with the Search plugin.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there someone within NPVR that I can change to get this to work? Or something with my Harmony remote?
Using 2.1.4 but the last version had this problem too. Using XP pro. I start NPVR go to tv guide select an analog channel and it plays fine but when i go back to the guide and select the same analog channel or any analog channel I get fine picture but no audio. If I exit NPVR and restart the recording service the audio comes back. I tested a recording and it says theres mpeg audio stream but its just blank. I'm using an ATI theater 550 pro for analog and a hauppauge hvr-1250 for digital which works fine. Tested a 650 pro with same results. Any ideas?
What's the keyboard shortcut to get the video in a box as shown? With the mouse, if I double click the top border, it goes to full screen menu with the video box. But, I can't seem to find a shortcut to do this.
Quote:- improved tuner usage logic to make it more likely for recordings to include padding in multi-tuner setups
Installed 2.1.4 today looking forward to this improvement. Did some test recordings, and still see first analog tuner always used when others are available, so no padding. Then saw a recording that started with prepadding on the second tuner, but stopped 2 minutes after actual start time. Recordings and TVListings still showed it as recording (Red Sox First Pitch), but Device Status shows the tuner not in use.
Then the first recording did not stop. Recordings and TVListings showed it stopped (Boston Lobsters), but Device Status shows the tuner still recording, and it is still recording.
It was there once actually. When I first installed the card. I was having a problem with WinTV 7 (2.3g) and the irblaster not working right. After a couple of driver / sw uninstalls - installs got the issue resolved. Now WinTV, irblaster and my DirecTV HD receiver play nice together.
In the process somewhere, NPVR lost the HDMI setting for capture via HDMI. Only Component, Composite and SVideo are available. The Colossus card is showing up as HDPR in NPVR.
I tried installing the latest version this morning (2.14) after uninstalling 2.03 and reinstalling the Colossus drivers. Still no HDMI available in devices setup.
Since the update to the new version the EPG does not display scheduled recordings in red although the time line does correctly show that something is due to record in that time slot. Newly added recordings, recurring or one off also donât display and neither a restart nor reboot cure the problem. I have 66 Pending Recordings listed but none appear correctly in the EPG although seem to record correctly.
Been a sagetv user for over a year now with no real problems and am trying to change over to Npvr. Looks great and would like to convert but cannot sort out this slow channel changing. Read all the previous posts and fiddled with codecs installed CCCP codecs but still no good. Channels come up good with good sound and picture and I can change channel once, takes about 30 seconds but when I try to change again crashes with tuner not available message. Am using dvb-s usb tuner on NZ freeview channels which works good under sagetv. Tried 2.0.3 and now 2.1.4.
