Why does NPVRTray.exe make power requests when running on the same PC as the NextPVRService who already makes the necessary power requests while a tuner is active?
The NPVRTray always shows green when my single tuner is idle and red when it's active so it's perfectly aware of what's going on. While investigating a rare problem with NextPVRService power requests (now probably fixed by sub), I sometimes observed NPVRTray power requests out of sync with the red/green status.
On a few occasions NPVRTray had no power requests during live tv and on a few occasions NPVRTray had power requests during hours of idle time keeping the server awake (shown below).
Here is the situation and my way of thinking, and it should work but first tests did not work.
Situation:
I am running my NPVR server with 4 OTA ATSC tuners at my location and working great.
A relative is running a NPVR sever with OTA ATSC tuners in another state at his location.
I have channels he doesn't and he has channels I don't..... we would like to share them with each other.
We have already set things up so that the servers can be accessed from outside our local networks.
He can access mine and I can access his in kodi, but changing between the 2 in kodi all the time is kind of a pain.
I did some searching on exporting the M3U channel list and got them but when I try to create an M3U channel on the other end I get transcoder exited error when I try to view it.
Here is what I used for setting up the M3U channel..... https://hosting ip address/port*passcode/channel info pulled from the M3U export
Is there something I am missing or am I going about this all the wrong way?
We are using noIP as a dnns.
Hopefully I have covered everything needed for the help I would need. If I forgot something please let me know.
Hi, I am looking for a way to set the recording priorities, I have read lots of posts and the instructions but I am struggling to understand it. Can I set the priority within Kodi (like you can with TVheadend)? If not what is the best way to set the priorities? I have tried the recurring recording list in both web interfaces and using ctrl-left/right arrow to sort the list but the keys do no seem to do anything. I'm probably doing something stupid.
Many Thanks
P.S. running Libreelec, NextPVR Client and Backend on the same box.
This one has been around a while now. I think I reported it before, but it may have got overlooked:
I have two directories for recordings: One for Films & one for TV. TV is the default.
Steps to reproduce:
Preamble:
Set up more than one Directory (e.g. Film)
Set up a recording for the default directory
Set up a recording for the other (Film) directory
Steps:
1. Click on a TV recording in the scheduler it shows Directory = 'Default' (correctly)
2. Click on a Film recording - it shows Directory = Film (again correctly)
3. Click again on the first TV Recording again - it now shows Directory = Film (Although the record hasn't changed). - If I click Save it will now update the record to us the Film directory
This seems to have appeared in the latest release. I search for a show title where I only want to record certain episodes. I click on the episode and hit Record Once - the lentry turns red as usual. So far so good.
Then I realise I selected the wrong episode so I click the line again and click Cancel Recording. The list is not updated so still shows Red and if I click the entry again it still shows the Cancel button, but in fact, the recording has already been cancelled, it's just that the list has not refreshed. If I Manually refresh (by clicking Search Guide) again, it shows that the episode will not be recorded.
Hello,
The feeling of anonymity on live sex cams is also appealing. I can explore my desires and fantasies without the fear of judgment or consequences. It's liberating and allows me to fully embrace my sexuality.
I only get sound for 2-3 seconds then nothing, I must terminate.
I do not get any video.l
I installed NextPVR on 2 week old Windows 10 Pro 64-bit OS. My TV tuner card is a Hauppauge quadHD version 1652xx. It has the drivers installed for tuners prior to version 17xxxx.
I got the exception error and modified the shortcut adding -nogl.
This got me a little farther. I then got a message about no audio (no video was displaying) and it suggested Settings -> Decoders.
For video I have selected the Microsoft option each time. I have no idea what the other option are.
For audio I tried various combinations of Microsoft DTV-DVD Decoder (always on last 2) and Hauppauge Decoders for the 1st 3. I have not found an option that gives me video or audio more than 3 seconds.
What should I be using?
Physical platform:
i7-4770K unclocked
ASRock Z87 Extreme 4 motherboard
32GB memory
20+TB free storage (across 20 connected HDD+SSD)
Hauppauge quadHD 1652xx tuner
other assorted that should not impact.
