Adding this one as its own thread. Sub is going to try to add this in a future release.
To make it so that it is possible to delete folders from within the Videos screen ? This used to be possible in GBPVR. I am able to delete individual shows but I am left with various empty folders that I then need to delete manually outside NPVR. Its also useful to be able to delete a long list of shows by deleting the containing folder.
Please add a comment to this thread if this is also something you need.
As NPVR is now always in ts mode and appears to be updating the epg fairly continuosly would it be possible to do away with the nightly epg update - having a process to keep the latest info and alocating recordings to tuners etc. running in the background either continuously or on a preset time scale (every 20mins or something)?
As it seems that my Haupauge WinTV-CI card reader cannot keep up with HD transmissions, sub suggested to try another multidec solution. From what I understand you will then need a Phoenix smart card reader. Since my knowledge in this area so far is very limited could someone please take a look at the specifications on this reader (http://www.adteknik.se/english/usbphoenix.htm) and letting me know if it is what I am looking for.
Whilst doing a channel scan on either of the two tuners on my Nova-T 500, I get the the Exception below. I had to click on Continue (actually I pressed and held down C!) quite a few times before it stopped popping up. It doesn't pick up many channels either (9), so probably the error occurs after the first mux.

However, I have had this problem through various versions but still get recordings happening after a reboot but some time later the recording service seems to stop. I applied the patches in v28 but it still happened and have now upgraded to 1.5.31. Same again ....24 hrs after reboot there is a recording that should have happened this morning still pending. Anybody any experience of upgrading from a PVR-150 to a later card such as HVR-2200? I record an analog source (STB) over s-video and am never happy with the quality of the picture (ghosting on peoples faces etc. - can never be fully remove even with video card tuning).
I was thinking of upgrading to one of the later cards (also allows me to consolidate DVB card) and was interested to know if anybody had seen improvements in video recording quality. I have read that the 3D comb filter is a lot better (ie. not broken) on these later cards but I think that only affects composite not s-video connections. Thanks.
Odd problem here. I cannot schedule to record two particular shows. Shows after and show before schedule fine, but not the two on BBC1 at 5.5 pm and 6.25 pm. Some issue with the XML listing perhaps?? Logs attached
