I am trying to map the channels in gbpvr. everything works well under the HDHR config. When I try to run the GB-PVR config it doesnt pick up anything I get no channels found. I looked at the HDHR config page and it seems to be changing channels as the GB-PVR scans. at the end I have no channels found. I did increase the timing for GB to lock on the channel as suggested on another post but nothing happen.
I have included the logs and bda.ini file hope it helps. Also forgot to add. I am am looking for is OTA channels.
My system is working so well, and has needed so little tweaking recently that I'm reduced to reporting only this minor but important issue:
1. When I skip backwards, especially after the video has been paused, the skip often goes forwards. The workaround is to hold down the skip button to get a repeat when it will jump back too far, and I have to skip forward again...
2. When I press play after pausing on SD files, it skips forward 30 seconds or so. When I press play after pausing an HD video, it starts where it left off.
Any thought on why these issues should happen, or fixes?
I have been trying to make Hauppauge HVR-950Q work with GB-PVR. I was able to set up channels. However, I am not getting any sound in LiveTV. I am not quiet sure if I can record yet. I searched the forum a couple of nights but haven't found magic trick yet. If anyone can point me what should I have to do make LiveTV and recoding work, I will appreciate it.
My HDPVR generates h.264 ts recordings. Generally, these play back great through mvpmcx2. One thing I have noticed though is the resume never works for these recordings. Is this a known limitation?
I had a Toshiba external hybrid tv tuner that I tried to use with an old P4 computer running XP Pro. The tuner worked, but the computer was too slow.
Move forward...I've now got a Dell Studio XPS that is more than capable of handling the tv tuner, but I can't get it to work. The drivers from Toshiba are set up to only work with a 32 bit OS and mine is a 64 bit system. I've tried to install the 64 bit driver from Avermedia. It installs and then changes the hardware name to from Toshiba ATSC TV Tuner to Avermedia M039U USB Hybrid DVB-t. Device Manager shows the hardware and says that it is working.
When I try to configure GB everything seems to look like my previous setup, but when I try to scan for channels, it doesn't find any.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tonight I am reformatting my recordings drive to take advantage of a larger cluster size. I carefully backed up the recordings drive, repartitioned, reformatted and restored the backed up files. Unfortunately (and I should have thought of this) the GBPVR database updated itself while there was nothing on the drive. No, I didn't back up the database before I started. I do have a full system backup from early this morning, and GBPVR is on the system drive, but that seems like a draconian measure if I can avoid it. Is there anything else I can try?
I am having a problem setting up a client. My GBPVR server works great. It is installed on Win XP as is the client. I disabled the firewall on the server and shared the gbpvr folder. I can access this folder on the client. The client is configured to be a client in the config.exe. I have tried both streaming and file sharing modes. I am able to show status on the client properly. I am also able to see the menu on the client if it is not configured to be a client. The logs indicate this:

When I start the PVRX2 program on the client, it starts but will not show the menu and hangs. It maxes out one core of the CPU and I have to force it to end. I have verified the file mentioned in the error exists. I do have a couple of plugins installed (comskip.exe), would this cause any problems? Thanks in advance!

I'm going to build a new HTPC for my self and wondering witch video card to buy? Are most people still using nVidia cards or have the problems with ATI been solved?
The card will be used for playing:
* dvb-t
* mpeg4 dvb-t (when they will start sending it.)
* .mkv files
* .avi..... and all other common video files.
Ok, I am going nuts. I setup gbpvr and have it working on the server. live tv works and all is good. Now the problem is when i try to install it as a client live tv will not work. I can access and watch recorded shows. I can see the guide, but no tv. If i click live tv the screen blinks quickly and goes back to the live tv menu. If i select a channel in the guide it just goes back to the guide. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out and am about to scrap it. I posted the log file. I have it setup at file sharing because I have no idea how to get the streaming working.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am pulling my hair out and have spent 2 straight days on this.
