Because of problems and complaints I am seeing and reading that don't seem to be logically related to the NMT, if you use Weather2. you do so at your own risk. I do expect that you will see NMT crash because of it, but the problem is at the server out of my control.
I have selected to show all as metric and I think it have worked before. But now I get all temperatures in that funny, useless american type: °F anyway.
Have something happened on the data provider side, or have this something to do with my win 7?
I installed V1.1.0.3. WHen I ran it, the Forecast for the current day shows N/N but if I click on it it has information for the forecast. Is this due to some part of the forecast you are not able to download?
Attached are logs and screen caps showing the condition.
I have installed the Webradio 2.1 and it works fine. But there is some things that annoys me. When I open the myRadioEditor it is almost unusable, because I use Large dpi (120).
When browsing through the list it would be helpful if I could use letters to go to a specific location in the list (there are a lot of countries in Europe, so it takes a while to go down to Sweden for instance). Same with the radio channels.
First in the list there is a "Last played" menu button. There is only one entry in mine. Is this as expected or have I just not used the plugin enough? If it is as expected, I would prefer to have that right on the first page and not as a menu button.
I still haven't resolved this problem. After sleep mode, The folders for shows have been created, but the folders are empty. The shows are listed in "What's New", but the ending time is listed as one minute less than the beginning time.
If I try to watch live TV after sleep mode, GBPVR leaves the main GBPVR screen for about a second, and then returns to the main screen. I've tried to use Windows Media Center, and the same thing happens in it, so it isn't a GBPVR problem.
The TV card, an HVR1800, still shows up in Device Manager. And this is a new card from Hauppauge, so it isn't a bad card. I tried moving the card to a new slot - still doesn't work.
Finally, I've tried using Vista, with the same results.
Decided it was time to update Weather programe (from Weather to Weather 2 v1.1.0.3 ) but unfortunately once installed Weather 2 just causes MVP's to go really slow and then crash...
Done some investigating and have two observations
1) I don't have PVRX2 running (all access is via MVPs). Which means when MVP is switched on it forces Weather 2 data download which hangs - this does not happen if I open PVRX2
2) Recurring error - "FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:: System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Plugins\weather2\<unique directory name>\weather.xml' because it is being used by another process."
After a general update of my gbpvr setup and amongst other things changing to 1.4.7 I can no longer playback files with danish characters in the file/folder name - the mvp just reboots. When removing the special danish characters from the file names (Ã,Ã,Ã ) the mvp plays back fine.
Tried different dongles however same problem. Any idea's?
Suddenly, my 2250 is giving me problems. I can record QAM with 1 of the tuners but not the other. Scans even come up moot. I used the BDA migration tool to copy over the channels but still it won't record. This just started last night and nothing new has been installed, nothing changed or adjusted. It just happened.
Logs are attached. Thanks.
I am using one of the MCE blaster and can't get port 1 to work. With it I'm using HIP and net2hipsend. It works great with port 2 on the box, but port 1 won't work at all.
I read one post that said to re-install the drivers. I followed that, and used hwclear to remove all the hauppauge drivers, then reinstalled the new hauppauge drivers. I am running XP Service Pack 3, but haven't done any windows updates since SP3.
I am using version 1.1.0.2 of Weather2. I find that sometimes when I start up PVRX2 Weather2 is not listed in the Main Menu. If I exit PVRX2 and start it again it comes back to the list.
Attached are my logs from when I thought this happened but I am not sure.
