I noticed that you made the change of text size for the <CompositeImage name="AlertTextBoxImageNormal" to use the MapTitle textsize. You should have also made the same change to the <CompositeImage name="AlertTextBoxImageSelected" text size. It is a minor issue but most Alerts are rather large and must be scrolled so the text size for when the AlertBox is selected is important.
I'll ask you to please bear with my ignorance on this as my system is all SD and the HD side of GBPVR is new to me.
Over the holiday here I was helping my brother-in-law get his HVR1600 working with GBPVR. We finally got it up and running just before I left, but the Live TV playback was stuttering a lot. I did not gather all the vital specs on his system, but this is what I did see:
Dell P4 2.53GHz (system is 3-4 years old)
1GB or RAM
40GB HDD (he plans to add another HDD)
Video adapter was an Intel something-or-other (didn't know Intel was a player in that market).
Windoze XP SP3
I noticed the CPU utilization sky-rocketed during Live TV mode. My system doesn't do this - is this an HD issue or something with the graphics card? I saw a few posts here recommending graphics card upgrades for HD, I guess it would be difficult to tell if that's the issue until I know what he really has under the hood.
I can certainly get more specs on his system, but for now I do have two questions:
1. Are there recommended minimum system requirements for HD with GBPVR?
2. Is there a way to get SD resolution Live TV playback with his HVR1600 so the system is usable in the short term?
I have 32bit XP with my PVR-150 fed via the UHF connection.
EPG is setup via djkxml. At this stage I have just asked for TV1,2 and 3.
I can see channels via the tuning assistant but when I try to view them I get a blank screen with no sound.

Im my config sources -> I can see Channels (named) 1,2 & 3 listed as "source channel" 1, 2 and 3. Is this correct? When I use the tuning assistant TV1 is channel 7?
I have tried manually editing TV1 to be source channel 7 but it didn't make any difference.
Q2)
Config sources -> analogue plugin recorder settings What should I have the source set to? Compsite/Svideo/internal?
Just did a new install of the latest versions of GBPVR and weather2. When I enable the radar in the config the weather2 plugin crashes whenever I try to access it from GBPVR. Is there any debug logs I can upload?
I've noticed that when I go into CONFIG and change the default skin to be Community rather than Blue, PVRX2 still uses the old definition of which skin to use. I need to go in and delete the config.xml file from the Windows Virtual Store to get the newly chosen skin to take effect.
Is this something that should be added to CONFIG so changes made within CONFIG actually show up when we subsequently run PVRX2?
I have many recordings set up in GBPVR but none of them show up as scheduled tasks. I see in the config app how I can get it to wake up for EPG reload but not for programs. Any ideas?
I've selected the config option under processing to auto convert TS to MPEG
No MPEG files ever seem to appear and I see no signs of any conversion activity in the logs
The Wiki is silent on how this is supposed to work, what utilities might need to be installed; what codecs that are otherwise not in use might be failing etc. etc. so I don't know where to start. Help appreciated.
